Dr. Kenneth Dauber, MD

Dr Dauber and staff are extremely kind, conservative and thorough. It is refreshing to have a physician who listens and offer options.Dr Dauber is one of the pillars of Plano Orthopedic I highly recommend Dr Dauber and grateful to his team.

I went to him for an impairment ratng for a work related injury. When I arrived in his office I felt very much rushed and not as if he cared about my stituation or pain what so ever. Alot had taken place prior to me being referred to him, and he did not care to hear anything, he had his mind made up about my current situation based on notes he read, without allowing me to explain how the prior clinic had shut down leaving me without treatment. He said I needed to exercise and I would be fine, which i told him I already work out daily, which is why I am in great shape, but I should not be in continued pain with my shoulder and knee after so long. He then said it could take years being in pain and that its ok. He conducted a quick exam pushing and pulling on my knee and shoulder, which he left in more pain, and he could care less. This is not a person I would reccommend if you want to feel like they care at all about your pain. He did not listen or seem at all interested.

Very knowledgeable. Had a nice demeanor with a bit of good humor. His staff is so nice. Would definitely recommend him and this clinic.

This doctor needs to attend a class on compassion and learn a kinder, gentler manner of handling patients both physically and mentally. His first words to me upon entering the exam room were “you have about 50 things wrong with you; so, let’s pick one”. I found this incredibly rude. I had lower back pain and shoulder pain. There is erroneous information on my record that has apparently been entered at a central medical records department by someone who is asleep at the wheel. His exam was rough, and he seemed to take pleasure in inflicting pain. He was dismissive and complained that my insurance company would not do an mri without my doing PT. I left, did the PT, came back for a second visit about 5-6 weeks later. He was again dismissive and said that I had fibromyalgia. I saw a rheumatologist later who said I did not have fibromyalgia. Dr. Dauber’s rude, dismissive attitude was offensive. I have since seen a different doctor who was pleasant and thorough.

I and my family have been seeing Dr. Dauber going on 20 years. His professional demeanor are second to none. His appointments are always on time. He takes time with his patients and makes you feel part of a family. He's spot on with diagnosis and if it requires seeing another specialist, he gets that right too. He has your best interest in mind and is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.

Dismissive attitude, didn’t listen to my concerns. Signed a few papers and had me exit. Didn’t call in the anti inflammatory medication so I had to follow up. Total waste of my time and money to see this doctor. The entire experience felt like an insurance scam to charge me for X-rays and an office visit and then get me out the door to get to another patient. This doctor needs to work on his condescending and almost creepy conversation style. This place felt like their entire goal is to get as many patients in and out the door. If you don’t need surgery, they don’t want you as a patient.

Dr. Dauber had analyzed the issue & reports, had two-way conversation with patience, removed fear, and charted a nice care plan for me!

Once again, Dr. Dauber confidently identified the cause of my pain. Within 24 hours I found significant relief due to his treatment. He and his assistant, Kim are a great team.

Doc is always in a good mood, always looking for the best solution to my pain and when I follow his treatment plan I am traditional pain free within weeks. Highly recommend him!!

I went in with symptoms that had multiple causes. Dr Dauber took no time in identifying underlying issues, and was thorough in his assessment. His experience shines through.

I have 3 degenerative cervical discs, bone spurs, arthritis, and have been in 3 car accidents. My pain has become much worse recently and I wanted to have an MRI. Dr. Daubner was impatient, way too emotional and barely spent any time with me. When I tried to give him some of my history he interrupted me, raised his voice, and demanded WHY ARE YOU HERE? I told him I was in a lot of pain and was currently being treated by a chiropractor. He became very angry and said there is no way I could be treated by him while seeing a chiropractor. I asked why because he was the only one relieving any pain? He said they don't even know what they are popping. He then said, 'I will LET you' and glared at me. He said I had to have an X-ray. He spent 5 seconds looking at it and said everything looked fine and placed an order for an MRI. I believe he has emotional/control issues. I also have no confidence in him. No way will I ever be treated by him in the future.

I’ve always been active and Dr. Dauber has always been able to help me as things come up.

I saw Dr Dauber for pain in my leg & back. He was thorough & recommended a conservative approach which I liked. He is very personable & treated me with respect.

I went to see Dr Dauber for my IRE after an Achilles injury. Dr Dauber was a super nice guy. He was professional and my visit was a quick 10-15 minute visit.Everything I have as far as a review for Plano Ortho is very positive! The staff was excellent and I had very little wait time for any of my appointments!
