Total knee replacement was awesome!
I was walking with no assistance whatsoever ONE week after surgery. Before operation, one of the hospital staff told me that she had been in orthopedics for 40 years and had used Dr. Ham herself. She also said that his patients do very well.

Very satisfied with orthopedic surgeon.
I have been compelled to show my appreciation for the fine job Dr. Ham and his assistant did preforming the surgery on my existing left foot stump. Prior to the surgery, I was experiencing great difficulty and pain with a 32 year old stump that had mutated over the years. I have been to other orthopedic surgeons to review my predicament but Dr. Ham exhibited the most concerned and gained my trust. I was very impressed with his post surgery observations and concerns. He was never impatient with me and allowed me to communicate to him my concerns. I felt he honestly engaged me in the decisions concerning the surgery. He never spoke down to me, and I would always recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon. Best Regards, Kenneth B Pazdur

Terrible. Never saw Dr. Ham, but rather only saw an assistant who gave me a injections in my arthritic hands without any numbing agent. Hurt like hell. After six months, I decided to go to another doctor and asked to have my records forwarded, but they were never sent even after several calls and personally stopping at the office. If you have arthritic hands, I suggest that you go to the Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis. Great caring and professional help!

As a RN, I recommend you avoid Dr. Ham regarding any injuries or claims. I obtained a flu shot at a clinic. Unfortunately, it was given incorrectly into my shoulder joint not my arm muscle. Within days, I felt severe aching in my left shoulder area and could not raise my left arm above my head. I saw Dr. Ham and had an MRI done there. The MRI report said nothing of my injury. I asked him to correct this, he told me to do it myself. I had to call the radiology office. They were very cooperative. I provided a copy I had kept of my history prepared for Dr. Ham's office. The radiologist amended the report after getting no help from Dr. Ham. Fortunately, I recovered fully after 8 weeks. Dr. Ham provided no treatment and was no help at all. He seemed more concerned that the clinic where I got the vaccine might be sued. That can't even happen with a vaccine claim. Just a federal program is available. I hope no one with less medical training than me gets involved with him.
