A very humble and unassuming man. He is blessed by God, from day one he explained my severe Mitral valve stenosis. He discussed clearly, what would need to be done. I respected him and felt confident that it was not by chance that he was referred to me to perform my surgery. The surgery was 15 days ago, so far no complications! His team of Physician Assistants represented him very well with my aftercare leading up to discharged. I had Mitral valve replacement surgery, and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Kenneth Herskowitz, very skilled Cardiac Surgeon.

I recently has quadruple bypass .I researched to make sure I had the best Dr I could find ..Dr Herskowitz saved my live in my opinion ..His reputation precedes him .He has done thousands and thousands of heart operations so I believe experience counts big time ! You certainly should have a heart doctor who has experience and as Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery you have it all in DR Herskowitz.. His staff in his office ,especially Alma ,went out of the way to take care of me ...I was in the hospital for 4 days .His assistants in the hospital were magnificent .The amazing thing to me .I had virtually no leg pain were he took out one of the veins for the operation, and I was up walking within a few days and after 3-4 weeks I feel like a new person ..You won't be disappointed ..Dr.Herskowitz IS THE BEST !

I had an excellent visit with Dr. Herskowitz. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions. The best bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

I'm only 45 and needed a Mitral valve replacement and tri cuspid repair. Dr. Herskowitz is amazing he fixed both of my valves without me having to take a blood thinner for the rest of my life, so instead of only making it to 65 I'll be well into my 80's. If not for his calm demeanor and honest solution to my severe aortic stenosis, which i knew nothing about, no symptoms, no shortness of breast or chest pain, I am here today seven days after the surgery and enjoying this Thanksgiving with a great deal to be thankful for.

My dad had a TAVR with Dr, Herskowitz a few monthes ago, from the initial visit to discharge; Dr. Herskowitz took the time to explain the procedure, risks and benefits and answer any questions that we had.

Dr herskowitz did a aortic valve replacement ×2 as the st jude valve became covered in vegetation. I now have had a tissue valve for over 15 yrs and even now through special pics from others they are amazed at his work. If it wasnt for my zipper scar they say they wouldnt even know. Im grateful to this man and may need him again here in the future .

1 month ago my dad had a TAVR procedure with Dr. Herskowitz at Broward General Medical Center. From the first office visit to when he went home to follow up; Dr. Herskowitz was extremely professional, caring, and answered all our questions. We are very happy and my dad is doing very well.

My father had open heart surgery with Dr. Herskowitz several months ago and I wanted to express my gratitude and thank him for all that he did to restore my dad to health. I appreciate the time he took to explain everything and answer our questions about the surgery. Most doctors do not spend the time explaining what will happen so the family knows and is comfortable with the surgery. I am telling all my friends if they need heart surgery to call Dr. Herskowitz. He is an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Herskowitz recently operated on my mother. She had a difficult aortic valve surgery. She did amazingly well after sugery and went home after 6 days. He could not have more thoughtful and caring about explaining the procedure including all the risks.He spent a lot of time with myself and the family making sure we were well informed of what mom needed.

aweful individual. was looking to capitalize on the elderly.. told my dad a sales job and when it was over, he did nothing but made it worse.... he didnt take the time to discuss the pros and cons of the surgery... instead he used the famous line, i will open your chest and FIX EVERYTHING! well he didnt.. instead, he had my dad for 6 hours, only replaced his aortic valve, could NOT fix the blocked arteries, and then tells us my dad's kidneys wont be functional anymore... what a liar...

Dr. Herskowitz did my heart valve repair. He is awesome, I would recommend him to anyone. Not a just a great doctor with an impeccable reputation, but a real nice guy.

Dr Herskowitz and his staff gave me the best treatment ever by a medical staff. I am home recovering from open heart surgery performed by Doctor Herskowitz. I was explained every part of my procedure and all my questions were answered. My procedure was shown on his website, a short version. During the video, Dr Herskowitz explained what his and his staff were doing. He was very clear this was a group effort and it took many doctor's to make this procedure successful. I recommend Dr Herskowitz.
