I provided clear, written consent for high-profile implants with a lift—a medically necessary mastopexy to correct tissue sag and restore shape after a prior surgery. I had already been through so much and was trusting him to finally make things right.What I received was the exact opposite of what I asked for.He used low-profile implants that flattened my chest, reduced projection, and made my breasts appear wider and lower than before. Most critically—he did not perform the lift. My nipples remained low. My tissue sag persisted. The core correction I asked for was never done.I asked for clarification. The office looks very nice and elegant. The staff is very welcoming however, my surgical experience was the worst. Dr. Smart will tell you one thing during consultations and say he can perform the surgery. He did a terrible job. It was so concerning I paid 20k for abdominoplasty, arm lift and back lift. I got a all three done at the same time because I addressed specific wants and he told me he could do that. My tummy tuck is loose, no lipo was done, the sides of my abdomen were there is obviously loose skin not touched or tighten but there is still a incision there. My back lift that was supposed to be bra line was cut like a v and the loose skin area I had concerns about in my bra line area was not touched. again no lipo. He told me he would lipo my back and stomach and did not keep his word. I'm 2 months post op and I have raised concerns to Dr. Smart. He shows no concern, he try's to down play your concerns and will not try to make a revision. He told me "Don't be so hard on yours

Dr. Smart has performed 2 breast surgeries on me in the last year. I developed a post operative issue after the second surgery that requires further surgery. I’ve seen 5 surgeons that are in agreement of this complication, yet Dr. Smart has repeatedly downplayed the need for further surgery and has discounted my feelings and concerns. He does not listen and takes offense when discussing the issues. I left his office on Wednesday in tears and no resolution. His staff is amazing and they always listen and care for the patients but I can no longer recommend Dr. Smart. I am now left with having to pay an additional $9,000 to have a large seroma removed and further revisions to a mastopexy. I understand there are risks with any surgery and I don’t blame him for the complication but he has not handled it professionally and I am left having to deal with it without his help. At this point I would never let him operate on me again but he should offer some type of compensation.

Love his staff!!! They are all so amazing!!! I will never go anywhere else. Jenny, Bailey, Rachel & misty are so sweet and I couldn’t have done it without them! Dr Schultz his anesthesiologist is very gentle and easy to work with. First day post op and I can already tell he worked his magic! Highly recommend in every way. Thank you so much Dr smart & staff!!!
