So far, so good.
His wife at the front desk is very efficient and friendly and he has helped me with my leg which is shorter after a hip replacement. I would recommend him.

Not good. Been nearly two years and the toenail fungus that spread to the both sides of both of my feet is still present on the majority of three sides. The toenail itself is clearing gradually and between the toes has cleared up completely. Due to my being a child athlete and adult health and fitness enthusiast, I had athletes feet for over 30 years. I understand it takes time. However, Dr. Stein prescribed one Lamisil pill a day for 90 days along with topical Lamisil and an ammonium lactate medicated lotion. I was only able to get 72 pills in a calendar year per my insurance. Dr. Stein would have to do a pre authorization to explain the clinical foundation and necessity for the remaining 18 pills. He has refused out of laziness or fear for over six months now. He just won't do his job. Not only have I not been able to adhere to the basic treatment regimen which significantly reduces the effect of the medicine, when I was receiving the pills I had days in between taking them each time

I find his office to be very cozy and the doctor himself to be more helpful than most any doctor I have ever been to and I've been to quite a few at the big hospitals

I went to see Dr. Stein because of a pain in my foot. He seemed like a reluctant practitioner and uncertain of himself. He repeated what I said to him. Accept for ordering blood work ( I don’t know why) and X-Rays. I received nothing from the visit, and to add insult to injury ( no pun intended) I never received a call back to discuss a second appointment, findings or a plan of action- even though I called to confirm that he had received reports and tests. This doctor seemed to have retired but is still accepting co-pays without providing service.

Barely spent any time trying to diagnose the problem. Ended up having to go to a different podiatrist later that same day to take care of the problem.
