Dr. Kenneth Winton, DO

I have known Dr. Winton since he was a new doctor in Fort Worth. He is kind, compassionate, and thorough. Dr. Winton was the favorite with all the hospital staff, and the majority of us used his services for our medical care. Dr. Winton provided holistic care.

Dr. Winton sees my entire family. He is old school with a very friendly and comfortable bedside manner. He listens to all of our concerns and is very knowledgeable and proactive. He has great ER experience, so I trust him entirely. I would recommend him highly, and love his nurses and office staff!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Winton. He is a tireless doctor, his theme is "patient first". It had been over quarter century, but it still seems like yesterday. It was 1996, when I worked as a social worker in Richmond, Virginia. I also worked as an interpreter for Dr. Winton since a lot of clients had language barrier. Dr. Winton never left anyone behind, as he treated everyone with all his care and dignity. I am not sure if he remembers me, but I will never forget him. If I ever have a choice of choosing my PCP, he is no doubt on top of the list.

Dr. Winton is thorough and listened to all of my concerns. Love his office staff too!

This guy is on my insurance. My first visit, he offered to do a gynecological exam, which I declined as I was there expressly to have my thyroid checked. On my husbands first visit, he mentioned that he no longer does proctological exams for men, which also was not something my husband was there for. This doctor has always given me weird vibes. I only go to get my thyroid checked once yearly, which has not been complicated for some time because my thyroid levels are well controlled on my current medication, but he manages to milk that for three to four full office visits a year. I’ve had problems with my prescription being filled correctly due to his office getting it wrong, and this last week has been incredibly frustrating. He made me cut larger pills into pieces myself while waiting for his office to get my scrip faxed in. They still haven’t done it days later, I’m out of Armour thyroid, and now Im feeling woozy bc I haven’t had the correct dose of medicine in a week.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Winton to family and friends. He has worked to find out the root cause of my health issues and devised a treatment plan. Dr. Winton and his staff have been extremely helpful.

I cannot say enough about Dr.Winton, he and his staff are friendly and compassionate.
