I have been seeing Dr. Wong for approximately 12 years, since an emergency room visit for rapid heartbeat. He reviewed the medications I was on, and re-evaluated which medications I should be on. He adjusted my prescriptions, originally prescribed by my General Practitioner. I have annual follow up visits. He and his staff provide extraordinary care.

Terrible! He has no bedside manner. The medicine he had me on for atrial fibrillation almost killed me and instead of him saying he was sorry or showing any concern he chastised me because I had been reluctant to take prescription blood thinners. He did not write a new prescription for my atrial fibrillation he just took me off of the one that almost killed me. And then I started having problems constantly. He’s uncommunicative. He is not friendly and he is unwilling to discuss things with his patients. He literally walked out of the room while I was talking to him the last time I was there.

Fine for routine visits, but was not concerned about helping me in my hour of need so I found a cardiologist that would see me. At the time (2011) his staff was not friendly or helpful.

When the careless Mercy rehab doctors took my 94 year old grandma off her heart medicines and we were desperate to get guidance from her doctor of 20 years Dr. Wong, Cathy that answers the phone would take the message and say he would call us back. Repeatedly we tried, with the same uncaring response and no call or appt. Meanwhile, her heart failure skyrocketed and she died within 2 months. Later we find out there are life-saving procedures that could have been offered all along but were not!.
