Great doctor. Took the time to talk to me about my mother's condition and how best to provide care for her in the future.

I accompanied my elderly mother to see Dr Yen. He spent 45 minutes with us and was compassionate, patient, and thorough. He walked us through the tests he had run, what they meant, and what the next steps were. He is extremely observant. At an earlier visit, he noticed how much pain my mother was in, and discussed it up with her and insisted she get it treated, which led to her getting a very successful back surgery. I am so relieved my mother has a doctor who is so sharp and observant and caring.

This doctor was awesome, and I am hard to please. He diagnosed pulmonary fibrosis in it’s earliest stages. He really cared. My new pulmonary doctor kept trying to say it was asthma and copd but lung biopsy showed that it was in fact what Dr Yen said.

I was a patient at Northside Hospital at The Heart Institute (Which is on my insurance plan). Somewhere in the 24 hours that I was there, Dr Yen says that he entered my room (he is NOT on my insurance plan), and 12 months later I am receiving collection notices for almost $2,000, that my insurance company will not pay because his is out of network. When I contacted the hospital, the billing department did not even have record he was in my room and said there was nothing they could do. Sketchy

This Dr. came into my father’s hospital room when he was being discharged from Northside Hospital. He did not introduce himself but provided information to my parents that was contradictory to that from the cardiologist who performed the procedure. When we questioned him about it, he said he didn’t care what he said, kept talking and proceeded to curse (the worst one that start with an f). He continued to make my parents incredibly nervous after six very difficult days. Horrible.

Listened, never had to sit in the waiting room for hours, never was told I didn't have an Appointment, when I had slip in my pocket. Never waited on aPFT test, cause he wanted someone to do something else first, even though I was there ahead of time. never told me I had to Prove what I had!! Just one Heck of a good Dr' Was sorry to see him leave the Diagnostic Clinic. Always took time, and h
