Dr. Kenoma Anighoro, MD

Dr. Anaghoro is an excellent knee & hip doctor and surgeon specializing in problems and replacement surgery if needed. He took the time to listen and addressed issues of balance that may lead to falls. After hearing me out, he referred me to an ENT for an assessment of annoying hearing issues that might impact balance along with an appt with a back doctor. I'm using Youtube videos from Dartmouth to practice balance techniques. Immensely helpful and easy to do. They also recommend resistance exercises, Tai Chi -- well-done. I'm more confident since the visit last week -- using my knees freely and shifting my focus to balance. I' walk with our 13-yo pup with a walking stick, stretching and moving more since I know my knees are fine, it's the balance problem is concerning. Dr Anaghoro and his staff were excellent. Very professional, explained everything clearly and answered all our questions. Surgery went great and everyone from office staff to surgical center personnel were great.

From the first appointment, through follow-ups, the surgery, and post-surgical care, every step went smoothly. Dr A. is a skilled surgeon and a caring physician. The entire team is first class.

He explained that the only solution was for surgery. He explained procedure, I was very comfortable with the choice. After being in a great deal of pain pre surgery, I was amazed that when I stood up post surgery, there wasn't any pain. If and when I need the other hip done, he will be my surgeon.Many thanks to his staff at the office, and St Vincent's, which is a wonderful place to recover. The best part, I was back at the gym in 20 days.

Had an old knee replacement that failed and was terribly painful. Dr. Anighoro was the only surgeon that would even see me after my former doc retired. Thanks to him I can go on walks with my wife again!

Ignored my questions; told to come back for a follow-up visit but was informed it was not within their expertise and was advised to schedule with another doctor on the follow-up visit; did not provide any pain management plan or treatment medication other than the one without effects; showed carelessness towards patients.

I was amazed that I got a call from Dr. Anighora on a Saturday night to tell me about my MRI. His concern for my well being because of the location of a tumor that showed up was incredible. While he referred me to another doctor in the practice, I trust him so much and would recommend him to anyone! Thanks so much!Tom

Dr. Anighoro has taken care of several of my friends and family members. They love his kind caring attitude and he is a great surgeon.

I went to have my knee checked. As a teacher, I am on my feet all day, including up and down stairs. I injured my knee kneeling and it has been getting progressively worse every day. I felt the need to get it checked because it continues to feel worse. I was in the office exactly 13 minutes including taking x-rays for Dr. Anighoro to say there is no evidence of damage including soft tissue damage on the x-ray. I have been told in the past that soft tissue damage can't be seen on x-rays. I was not given anything to help relieve the pain or support my knee to help me sleep or work. I was told to rest it as much as possible until it feels better, (OK, how? I am a teacher and care taker for an elderly parent.) If it is not improving after several weeks, call the office and he will see what he can do.
