Absolutely NO Aftercare
I had my 2nd total knee replacement, which went ok, but after continued requests for much needed physical therapy, I was told the cost for a physical therapist would cover nothing more than I could do on my own. After 2 months of not achieving the recovery I needed, I am now getting therapy at our local hospital at my own expense. The VA should have covered this. I'm in my 70's & still have to work everyday, even with the pain & lack of mobility. I used to have a high regard for the Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, but they are not doing right by our veterans. We fought for this country & were promised benefits we're not recieving. If they allow their staff to give inadequate care & this type of arrogant attitude, I would never recommend them again, & definitely not this doctor.

The Doctor told me my ankle was what it was and didn't sugar coat it. He did the best he could do with it. So I can say he's a good doctor! All this happened in Sept. 2013. His honesty made the experience easier to adjust to.
