Dr. Shea is great! She put me completely at ease in my first appointment since having two previous miscarriages. She knew my history and assured me that if I have any worries in this pregnancy, I can always call or come in to ease my mind.

I started having problems with Dr. Shea after developing severe abdominal pain, the most significant of which are: ignoring my complaints of pain for several visits, removing an ovary unnecessarily (something she admitted afterward), and giving me very little information on my new diagnosis of endometriosis. When I began to develop the same problem with my remaining ovary a month after surgery, she and her office became very difficult to contact. I am now unsure if I will be able to have kids.

Dr. Shea failed to share the complete results of my labs, resulting in a missed diagnosis that prevented pregnancy. I wasn't aware of This until I saw a different doctor and my labs were thoroughly explained to me. Dr. Shea was consistently rushed, did not offer thorough information, and had a gruff dimeanor. I asked several times for her recommended treatment and her response was that it was up to me. Instead of feeling like I had a professional ally, working with her was one more hurdle.
