I had a triple bypass in 2012. Dr. Accola was my surgeon. He had done a triple bypass previously on my husband 2 months prior, along with my father in law. I found him to be an amazing Dr. He was so kind and so knowledgeable. I appreciate everything he did for me.

Dr. Accola was fantastic! He used a sternum procedure with a minimum incision. Within three weeks I was feeling as well as before the surgery and by eight weeks I was feeling better than in a few years!

I have to act as a patient advocate cause dead people can't speak-Dr Accola bedside is good until things go wrong. My wife was to have a routine aortic valve replacement. Pre-surgery office visit, no Mention was made that this surgery was an issue, "Your gonna be a new woman". She got in the bed with confidence all was going to be OK. Yes we know there is no guarantee and they practice as their license states. Post-surgery my wife's blood pressure plummeted and 2 weeks still in ICU her heart stopped. No reason, no explanation, "Just Hang in there" I'm told.40 days later still in ICU, my wife decided to end her lost battle on this bad surgery with her kidney, liver and lugs all failed. She was 64 years old. I never received any condolence or explanation of what went wrong. My wife if she was given the option to have this surgery or live out her life without it, I am sure she would not have had this surgery. I can speak for her as we were married 42 years. Shame on you Dr Accola

One year ago (12/12/19), I had my first surgery EVER. Dr. Accola performed an emergency aortic valve replacement. He is a compassionate and truly caring doctor. He explained what needed to be done without sugar-coating anything, answered my questions and put me at ease. If you want a brilliant, caring doctor, Dr. Accola is it. He and his fantastic team were amazing. If it wasn’t for him, I would not be here (and doing well) to leave this review.

Dr. Accola is the best valve replacement surgeon in the country. My mother had her operation 5 years again and she is doing great. From our first appointment to the day of the surgery Dr. Accola was very passionate about the family and ensure us everything was going to be fine. My friend's wife needed a valve replacement and right away I recommended him to Dr. Accola. Best decision my family has made! Excellent Surgeon.

Dr. Accola performed an aortic valve replacement on my bicuspid valve back in 2005. I had an excellent experience for someone who was only 38 years of age and beyond scared! Found out he was my grandfathers surgeon two years earlier. I highly recommend him!

When time to replace my aortic valve, Dr. Accola was one of two surgeons recommended by my cardiologist. Dr. Accola thoroughly explained my condition, options, risks, procedure and expected course of recovery. His team is top notch. He is an expert cardiac surgeon. My aortic valve replacement and recovery were completely successful. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Accola.

Dr. Accola is simply THE BEST !!! He was kind, compassionate, and caring towards my family and I. He and his PA took the time to explain aortic valve stenosis, what our options were and what to expect before and after surgery. My family and I drove from Tampa to Orlando, to have him perform my surgery. It was the best decision to drive the distance than to stay closer to home for convenience. I recovered re-markedly well, which I attribute to the skill and expertise of Dr. Accola!

Dr Accola performed my open heart surgery on 02/15/2018. I had severe Mitral valve regurgitation and my atria was enlarged because of the severity. At the consultation Dr. Accola was comforting and took the time to explain in detail what I needed to have done. I was going to need a Mitral valve repair or replacement. Dr. Accola, his assistants, and entire staff are excellent and I would recommend them to anyone needing a cardio-thoracic surgeon. My repaired mitral valve is working perfectly.

Dr Accola is simply the BEST! He's the most caring and compassionate doctor. This wasn't my first experience with him but I wouldn't trust any other doctor. Even though there are several hospitals in my area I drove an hour and 20 minutes to have open heart surgery with him. His staff got me in quickly to see him and are an asset to his practice.
