Tonsil cancer patient
14 years ago while flossing my teeth up close to the bathroom mirror. I saw these two tiny pink growths on my scar tissue where I had a Tonsilectimy at age 21. I had no symptoms. Had surgery plus 8 weeks of radiation. Dr Botts scopes me once a year. He is the only ENT who lets me get scoped without the numbing spray. I like him He listens

Absolutely wonderful Doctor. Knowledgeable, caring
Dr. Botts is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. I have heard from many that he is the absolute best ear nose and throat surgeon, in Pensacola, and I believe it. I went thru chemo and radiation and have not required surgery for my throat cancer, but I have loved being a patient of Dr. Botts, and if it does move toward surgery, I know I am in capable caring hands.

I liked the doctor the only visit but I can't get the billing corrected as they turned in the incorrect location as though I saw him in a hospital as an outpatient. Would someone please correct my record with the billing dept and let me know as I have been put on hold numerous times.

Dr orders repeated testing that's unnecessary. Hearing is not going to change in a 2 month time frame nor does ears need cleaning again in a 2 month time frame. Office does not check insurance prior to being seen then you are expected to pay that extra fee. Yes was in network now today is not,,,, really from one appt to another. Just dropped out of network.

Professional, caring, takes time to explain, super respectful doctor. Definitely competent. Took the next step to find out exactly what was wrong instead of dismissing symptoms.

He saved my life, found out the reason for problems that others were stumped on for years, and has the best bed side manners. He is one of the few Dr's that took my opinion on course of care into confederation. He listened to me and made me part of the discussion process. And when I said make the choice as if I were your daughter I believe he always did the best job. This is the reason he is a busy man but this is also the reason I don't mind to wait my turn. He gives you time and his self.

I do NOT recommend anyone to go to Dr. Botts! He was rude to me and talked down to me telling me that I was being over dramatic when I cried out in pain during a procedure, I was told to basically suck it up and there was nothing else he could do for me. Doctors should be caring and compassionate people and he was very far from that. The only thing nice I have to say is his nurse and staff were very nice but that does not make up for how he treated me.

I have a son with Down's syndrome. If you want to visit an egotistical man - than this is your guy. Nothing but rude and disgusting conversation is what you will have with this lower than life doctor. He will try to humiliate you and make you feel dumb - not only in front of your child - but in general. I wouldn't even give him one star. We saw dr Todd at SHH until he retired and this is where we sadly chose to come - Dr Botts is just a horrible person. - please pay more respect to your person.

My experience with Dr. Botts today was exactly the experience I hoped for. I am changing my ENT doctor after fourteen years of fantastic care. I was nervous about this change especially after reading some of these reviews. The fact is that he is very professional and understood my complex history immediately. He treated me with respect and my last doctor's treatment plan with respect. I am very happy to have someone of his caliber to assume my on-going care.

I'm new to the area. On my first visit, after having a hearing test at his office, he wanted to change my medications that I'm doing well on and have been on for several years. He only looked at my ears, no other examination was done. When I attempted to ask him questions about the medicine change, he said we didn't "mesh" and I needed to find another doctor. He is extremely condescending, unprofessional, rude, and judgmental. I have never been treated so bad by a doctor in my life.

He saved my life. I'd gone months in severe pain after seeing several doctors and visiting ER's several times. They all missed that I had an invasive fungal infection in my sinuses. Mucormycosis. Invisible to CT scans. Rare but usually fatal. He found it and performed several surgeries to remove the fungus and give me a fighting chance with antifungals. One surgery was CT guided, so he is not only superb at diagnosis, he is technically superb. I thank God I found Dr Botts.

Dr. Botts changed my daughters life! She was having trouble with her hearing. Dr. Botts put tubes in her ears and my husband and I noticed an immediate difference. Afterwords, my daughter couldn't stop talking about Dr. Botts. Se wanted to go see him again and kept saying I love Dr. Botts. He is such a sweet man with wonderful bedside manners. I would highly recommend Dr. Kevin Botts!
