An excellent surgeon and eye physician
I have twice placed my sight in the hands of Dr. Cox’s extremely competent surgical hands He is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist that I have found ti be very meticulous in his pre-surgical planning. He comes to his clinic and the OR prepared to do everything possible not to merely achieve a good clinical result, but one that is as close to perfect as can be achieved. He takes as long as needed to be sure you understand the procedure, it’s risks & benefits as well alternative treatments. Dr. Cox speaks in the language of his profession which some might find to be off putting , but he is only trying to be precise. If you beat this in mind, you will find Dr.Cox has a great bedside manner and is even subtly funny. I urge anyone with eye problems to visit Dr. Cox. I am confident you will leave with a solid diagnosis and a clear understanding of how to fix your eyes. I am so glad I did.

Dr. Cox was very unprofessional during my visit. He was rude and showed no beside manner. I am concerned about the lack of patient confidentiality in the office. The doors were never shut while he was in the room and I could hear conversations very clearly he was having with his other patients. I am a nurse and I was very upset about his lack to obey HIPPA laws. Will definitely not be back, nor what I recommend him to someone .

Waited a long time to get rushed through. Almost didn't say anything to me at all. Although I work d in th medical field, he left me with no understanding of my condition. Also Very Rough!! By the time I got home I had a black eye, and a slight scratch. Most uncomfortable eye exam ever.

I just recently had cataract surgery on my left eye. having already been through this with my right eye in PA, I have to say, this experience was far easier, well explained and I'm having a much easier recovery time. Dr. Cox is outstanding. Eric McGee Elkins, WV
