Great doctor and surgeon
Dr. Draxinger is the best! He is brilliant, courteous and has a sense of humor. I suffered for years with bilateral hip pain. X-rays revealed bone on bone. We discussed my options. I decided on hip replacement surgery on my right hip and five months later on my left hip. Now Oct 2024, one year post-op, I am still doing great, no longer using a cane, going for long walks and enjoying my life again.

Hand surgery
He was in a hurry and didn't seem concern about my hand Said he could get it back close to %100. He was not correct. He did my surgery and my hand would have been better off to heal on its own broke!

Knee arthritis pain
Was told my knee was shot and I needed a partial knee replacement. I asked about the shots that could be given instead of surgery. He said they would more then likely not work. I went and got a second opinion and this Dr said that would be a big mistake to do that, that the ex-rays showed no reason for a knee replacement. He did a steroid shot today and my knee is starting to feel a little better. Also said if this did not help in 2 weeks it was more than likely a pinched nerve in my back causing it. Sure glad I decided to get that second opinion. I'll never see another Dr at FHN!

He would not listen to me at all and talked over me when I tried to talk. Hated him!!Do not like him or trust him as a dr.
