Rushed, and no bedside manner. No post op warning about side effects of which I am still suffering from!

I went in for cataract surgery information and he rushed through all the information. The few times that I went into the office there was new staff or they were training new staff. Nobody knew what they were doing and they stated a surgical coordinator would help me set up the appointments but never reached out. I later found out that she was no longer working there. I feel like their employment turnover is extremely high!

I have Essence Insurance and when I called to make my appointment I asked if they took Essence and I was told yes, I was given the examine by one of the nurses not the doctor ( which I have never had that done before the Doctor always gives the examine) then finally 30 minutes later the doctor comes in a looks at my eyes with a light and tells me everything is ok. no prescription nothing! I leave then call and ask why I didn't get my prescription and that they would send it, I got it after 3 phone calls, I got my prescription with a bill they said that the doctor was out of my network that I would need to pay $93 for it. This is absurd! What was the $260.00 that the insurance paid for? I have talked to the people at the office and they told me that they take the insurance but that he is out of network! Why didn't they tell me that when I first called to make the appointment! They lied to me! Please elderly be aware!

Did cataract surgery on both eyes. He left me with a scar on my cornea and 20/400 vision (how many fingers do I have up?} poor depth perception and a patch over my right eye to drive at night.

I have been seeing Dr. Grueloch for about four years now. The staff is very friendly, and I've never had a bad experience there. Dr. Grueloch is extremely thorough and always takes the time to answer questions and discuss any issues. I highly recommend him.

Quality care

The entire staff is very kind and professional and the environment is a clean and comfortable place to visit. I never have to wait a long time to schedule an appointment or to see the doctor on my scheduled visit. The location is near the highway so it allows me quick access to the office and back to work.

Dr. Grueloch is superb -- he's an excellent physician who I see personally as a patient AND to whom I refer my own patients when they need to see an eye specialist. I only wish his front office staff matched his excellence.

Very informative and easy to talk to. Explained things to me to help me understand the problems I was having with my eyes. I have been going to eye doctors for 10+ years and he is by far my favorite one I have been to. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends and family.

Dr. Greuloch is the best. He is brighter and friendlier than I was expecting, which was a true surprise. Midwestern to the core, he is truly exceptional and with 25+ years experience his results are unmatched. Family man, multi-sport coach, and so devoted to his patients, he goes above and beyond in ways he probably doesn't realize. He would be embarrassed that I'm writing this. I wish there were more doctors like him.

Dr. Greuloch became my ophthalmologist several years ago after my long-standing doctor retired. When I needed to have cataract surgery, in addition to providing helpful written materials, he carefully reviewed and helped me select the best option for my condition. All procedures were completely spelled out. My surgeries were highly successful. I find Dr. G to be highly competent, personable, reassuring, always communicative and willing to answer questions. Office staff is wonderful also.

My Mom had gone to him for years and I was having trouble with my right eye so I called and made an appointment. Everything went very well, Marilyn at front desk was friendly, the nurses were also very helpful and efficient. Dr. Greuloch gave me my exam and explained to me what my problem was and what we would do to correct it. He is a very competent ophthalmologist and I will recommend him to my friends. I also Like that you get a report the next day in email regarding diagnosis to confirm.
