Dr. Lin has a great calming approach and showed great empathy regarding my radiation treatment for breast cancer. He was very proactive in my healthcare and my road to recovery. His staff is top notch.

Dr. Lin is an outstanding doctor! He took his time to explain my treatment and patiently answered all of my questions. He is as kind as he is professional and knowledgeable. Cancer is simply horrible but having Dr. Lin on my side gives me hope and reassurance. The entire radiology team is compassionate, professional and efficient. Daniel definitely sets the positive tone and all of the nurses and technicians are equally positive. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lin.

He has made my journey with Prostate Cancer an easy and successful experience. His demeanor and knowledge keep you calm when facing this type of diagnosis. Dr. Lin was thorough and patient when he first met us to describe our treatment plan. He made understanding the plan very easy for us to follow and was always willing to take the extra time to answer our questions. His gentle and friendly approach puts us at ease, after 49 treatments to our current post treatment follow-up we feel very confident in Dr. Lin’s care.

I've been seeing Dr. Lin for 5-years and he and everyone on his staff at Hoag are amazing. Super professional, courteous with exemplary patience and compassion. Dr Lin treated me for radiation during my breast cancer journey in 2018 and I’ve continued to check in with him yearly. Dr Lin is compassionate and really takes the time to listen and explain. He gives great advice and offers a different perspective to your concerns. I was diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer about 5 years ago. I researched a handful of radiation oncologists. A family friend recommended Dr. Lin and I am so grateful to have been under his care throughout my cancer journey. Dr. Kevin Lin came highly recommended from my oncologist and was so kind, compassionate and thorough in his treatment. The entire staff at Hoag/Irvine radiation was top notch….they ALWAYS ran on time, never ever a wait. Everyone if joyful and pleasant to be around, always a smile of their faces. My 102 year old mother had a large skin cancer tumor (squamous type) on the side of her nose. It was promptly and effectively treated with radiation by Dr. Lin. Dr. Lin was very kind, empathetic and professional and he explained the process and treatment well.

After learning the Pros & Cons of Surgery & Radiation Therapy, my wife & I decided for Radiation & Hormone Therapy.Coincidentally, my Hoag’s Urologic Oncologist, Dr. Robert Torrey, MD & Hoag’s Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Kevin Lin, MD coordinate and extremely work well together for my Prostate Cancer treatment.I’m so grateful to have Dr. Lin because of his intensive over 20 yrs experienced, kindness, friendly, communicate clearly, Caring & Compassionate which made me feel more comfortable.To his staff, Radiation Therapists & Radiation Oncology Nurses which made my life easier during the 15 min session, Mon-Fri for 6 weeks of External Beam Radiation Therapy & weekly follow ups by Dr. Lin.Overall, it’s above & beyond my expectations that I’ve dealt with a minimal side effects like diarrhea after the 2nd week of treatment & no post treatment wearing of diapers. Also Dr. Lin had successfully performed the SpaceOAR Hydrogel Placement.I strongly recommend Dr. Kevin Lin, MD.

As with previous reviews, my experience with Dr. Lin and his radiation staff was exceptional. Dr. Lin is very compassionate and I felt comfortable with him from my first visit. I had also heard good things about him from staff in other departments who had either worked with him before or knew of him. I’m grateful to have been assigned as his patient.
