Had two endoscopy done by him in less than a month he did not get by to me. third endoscopy done by south shore hospital .found bleeding and corrected the problem

Dr. Murphy must have me confused with another pt. I received a bill for a 25 minute outpatient visit while I was an inpatient @ St. Luke’s on 9/22/18. The problem is I never saw him, spoke to him or was treated by him for 25 seconds, much less 25 min. He actually charged my ins. $204, but sent the bill separately to GIC like I saw him in his office. I have never been to his office! Then I was charged a $10 office co-pay! Southcoast haunted me for months over this mistaken charge of $10 and gave it to a collection agency! I am tired of this harassment over a $10 co-pay I do NOT owe this Dr.! I am a 72 yr. old senior and I was also a nurse who worked @ SLH for over 16 yrs. as a nurse, and this Rx. of me has been abhorrent! My experience with this problem because of Dr Murphy needs to be rectified. That $10 charge was sent to a collection agency, for my non visit, non treatment, and never saw him at St. Luke’s, while I was in the ER! This needs to be corrected ASAP! K.J. Laviolette.

I met Dr. Murphy during a stay in Tobey hospital. He actually took the time to sit with me and discuss my condition. He listened to me and showed such compassion. I had been to other GI doctors that just prescribed medicine. Even though Dr. Murphy is very busy he will always take time to talk, explain things and really listen to you. I highly recommend him! Excellent Doctor !

I have written 2 glorious reviews on dr, Murphy ....none have shown up when I check it! Why? He s beyond wonderful!! I could go on and on....but I am tired of writing , it seems that I must be doing something wrong. Anyway, he is the best, caring Doctor I have ever had...he got my diagnosis right away.....I haven't felt this great in 20 years, thanks to him! Lindaclauss
