Bad ER experience
I was brought in via ambulance, I got there about 8:15pm Saturday night, as my followed me. They ran some some tests and then just left me. I shouldn't say 'they' the staff was very good, the doctor not so much. I understand I wasn't the only patient but he could have taken 5 mins and stuck his head in and say 'I'll be with you in just moment.' But NOTHING until 3am. He might have been in for 10 mins, telling me that my white blood count was sky high and indicated infection, but didn't see any. Now mind you, I had several spots of poison ivy and or oak that you could tell was infected due to the redness. And then De. Nesbit didn't send over the Rx or give to me the night of, so my wife had to call the ER and have Dr. Garcia do it.

Very Rude
I have ALWAYS praised Advent Health via Murray or Gordon. But the 2 encounters with this individual doctor (my husband and myself) kinda left me disappointed with Advent. My encounter, happened close to the end of July when I went in for lower back pain on the right side. Already had an MRI and they had done a CT scan a,week before when I had came to the ER for the same thing, I came back bc I was still hurting. This so called doctor basically brow beat and just completely ignored my pain. That was either a Saturday or Sunday evening, that Monday I went and seen Mark are Advent Orthopedic That 'Dr.' Nesbit (and I use the term Dr. loosely) saw in my MRI I had a slipped vertebrae. So Mark referred me to Advent Neurosurgery. After we left Mark's office, the surgeon's office called got me that Wednesday, after seeing my MRI, he admitted to Floyd hospital and that Saturday did back surgery and put screws in

During our ER visit my husband had a flare up of kidney stones. Dr. Nesbit had good bedside manners and was very thorough in explaining his options to him. He seemed very concerned that his kidneys were not functioning like they should. Therefore he suggested that he go overnight to another medical facility and have more test run. When my husband chose not to go that route he was very concerned that we would wait too long before rescheduling another appointment. He said that his situation needed to be looked at as soon as possible. He even made sure that we had a follow-up doctor to go to before we left the ER. His bedside manners were very pleasant and I was very pleased with how he explained the results of his test.

Emergency Room Visit
I encountered Dr. Nesbit after a visit to Murray Advent ER with my husband. Throughout the years of seeing many doctors with my parents, myself, and recently my husband, I can honestly say I’ve never meet a Dr who was as uncompassionate, rude, and unprofessional as Dr. Nesbit during this visit. He didn’t even attempt to explain what his course of treatment would be and when questioned acted offended and spoke to me pretty crudely. I’ve had veterinarians explain procedures better and show more compassion and professionalism than we were shown by Dr. Nesbit! I suggest he find another line of work with his poor bedside manners!
