Horrible
Went because of a nasal polyp. Dismissive and rude. First he said there was no problem, I insisted there was. He diagnosed a pimple; proscribed antibiotics; I stated I had been on a course with no resolution of problem. He did not respond. Told me to apply warm compress; I stated I had tried that; he snapped that I needed to do the compress on the inside of the nose, not the outside; I stated that's how I had done it, he did not respond. He diagnosed a furuncle when it's a polyp and a few times stated that my problem was "a whole lot of nothing."

Funny I have the same concerns as other patients. This Dr. is the most insensitive Dr. I have ever met. Doesn’t listen to you or thoroughly investigate your medical concerns. Gets an attitude when you ask questions. He actually was extremely rough and hurt me, and when I pulled back in pain, he gave me even more attitude. No wonder I got an appointment so quickly!!

I'm a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu practitioner and my Cauliflower ear got way out of control. His staff (Vern) got me right in even though the appointment wasn't set up right. All in all the got my ear drained and told me if I ever have any issues to just come back and they'll get me right in. Vern was super nice and cool. He could tell I was a bit nervous and he chatted me up on common interests, and put my mind at ease.

The worst bedside manner. He doesn't listen to patients and his physical exam is very very short and incomplete. I went to him for an ear issue and it still has not resolved.

I went to dr. O'Connell with hearing issues. He had me get a hearing test done and when that came back normal he offered no alternative solution. I told him that I was still having issues and he rudely said "well I don't know what you want me to tell you" and eventually left the room with me there crying out of frustration. Extremely unprofessional and showed no care for me as a patient.

I would not recommend. I had an issue in my ear that Dr. O’Connell misdiagnosed. It was a very easy thing to see in my ear if you took the time to examine a person. He rushes through his exams and should not be trusted

Went to him for an enlarged Thyroid. He came into the room and said I looked at your ultrasound and blood work and everything seems to be normal I said okay he's like do you want to see your ultrasound and blood work results I said sure I walked into his office he showed him them to me I advised him that I have hypothyroidism and then I take levothyroxine 175 MCG s and I've been on them for over 10 years and he said oh I didn't know that I can't believe a doctor doesn't review a patient's record

He tried to schedule adenoids/tonsil surgery just 4 days after our initial appointment for my 4 year old son. I did not get a good feeling about the whole thing. Not thorough at all and he was very quick to jump to surgery. After switching to another ENT we discovered my son has a blood clotting disorder, only brought to our attention through the pre-op blood work our new ENT insisted on getting. Thank God we didn't go with Dr. O'Connell or my son would have had severe complications. Horrible.
