I’ve been a patient for two years now after moving from the Atlanta area and as a retired RN I researched my new doctors well regarding their education, experience and patient reviews. I’m very pleased with his knowledge, explanation and the care he has given me as has his staff.

Stay Away from Sharkey!
Poor excuse for a cardiologist. Terrible communicator and refuses to answer any questions you may have. Ignores your plea for responses and others in the organization have to circle around him to provide support. Avoid him! He missed my diagnosis although I had seen him for years. A surgeon had to point out how my EKG had changed over time.

Unreliable, forgetful, and careless. Aside from only being in the room with me for about 10 minutes of the hour I was there, after recommending throughout the entire appointment that I have a cholesterol test taken, he forgot to have any blood drawn from me. I expected so much more, what a simple and basic thing to overlook. How can I trust you with my heart health if you can't even remember a cholesterol test? Do NOT recommend

Love Dr. Sharkey! He saw my father in the hospital when my father had been turned away at another hospital due to his age. My dad was 91 but Dr.Sharkey treated him with kindness and dignity , not rushing him away because of his age. He was honest and straightforward and kind and compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone ,and if I had a problem, would go to him if I could.
