Pain free with a new hip
Dr. Sonn performed left hip replacement for me about one month ago. Prior to the surgery, I met with two sports medicine doctors, both of whom determined that they might be able to alleviate the pain somewhat. However, X-rays showed bone on bone and surgery was the only option to resolve the problem. I met with Dr. Sonn to discuss the surgery and found him to be very professional, a very good communicator and empathetic to my needs. He took time to explain why I was suffering pain, what the surgery would entail and what to expect day of surgery and post-surgery in rehab. Dr. Sonn has a wonderful support team and I found them to be very caring and focused on my experience and needs—-pre-surgery, day of surgery and post. I’m pleased with the process and results, my pain is gone and I’m walking normally for the first time in years.
