Dr Khrist has been my neurosurgeon for 5 years. Man I couldn't ask for a kind , patient, lifted, genius, GOD guided and sent Neuro Dr. I had posterior cervical spine fusion hardware revision and level extension, from c3-c6, to c2-t1. 2 years of unknown pain , GONE!My surgery was 1-14-25. He's is so patient, even when I'm wired like roger rabbit and awkward. I'm 3 weeks post op. Besides the nerve and muscle pain, the pre surgery pain from the hardware issues is non existent. I saw Dr Krisht for spondylolisthesis, as I was in horrible pain. First appointment Dr Krisht had review my MRI and Xray , explained what my problems were, what needed to be done in a manner I was no overwhelmed. He answered questions and had such a great calm demeanor! I did have my surgery and again Dr Krisht made sure I understood what he was going to do and I felt very confident in him and his surgical team. I didn't feel like a number or invisible patient! At my 6 week check up again I felt he listened to all my questions, and answered them. This whole experience I felt treated with respect by Dr Krisht and his nurses and staff.

Dr Krisht was the only Dr. i had been to that really treate me as though I was not a hypochondriac. Being sent to him was the best thing that ever could have happen,I had given up hope of ever getting any relief. But he proved me wrong. I would recommend him to any one with back problems, He's an angle walking on earth to help people. i give him 10 thumbs up and will most definetly go back if I need him .. thank you Dr.Krisht for giving me my life back!!!!

I would like to correct my previous review of Dr.Khrist. After further conceltation with him I realized he made decisions for my benefit. After two surgeries both were 100% successful with amazing results. I absolutely have full confidence in his ability and would recommend him highly.

I count my blessings for the fact that the neurosurgeon who appeared before a disoriented, confused and helpless version of me in a St. Vincent North hospital ER exam room 3 months ago was Dr. Krisht. He had “good news and bad news.” The bad news was an aneurysm they’d found on my brain; the good news was it hadn’t ruptured yet. “Yet”…he’d said. If it had then 25% chance I’d be dead right now. An ambulance didn’t bring me there for warning symptoms; there aren’t any. It was because of an astronomical blood sugar level giving me a new diagnosis of Diabetes 2, sudden episodes of being unable to speak for several minutes, maybe seizures. But at my pre op appt 1 month later he explained the details, location, prognosis, and his recommendations, answering all questions thrown his way. “Tapered, with a blister.” Words can’t express my gratitude & respect for his courtesy, competence, & intelligence. He miraculously saved my LIFE!!!

I first saw Dr Khaled Krisht in April 2021 after my 2nd MRI and escalation of pain & other problems with my lower back. He was very kind and considerate, explaining in detail the results of my MRI and his recommendation. We decided upon surgery which included fusion of the L4 to L5 vertebrae. He explained the surgical procedure and what I was to expect in post-surgery recuperation. I’m 4 months after surgery, completed physical therapy and feel better than I have in the past 5 years. Surgery and post was not a “walk in the park” but I had been appropriately prepared. I am a healthy senior citizen and I don’t say this about many doctors but I love Dr, Krisht. Both he and his nurse kept me informed, allowed me to feel as if I was an active partner in the treatment of my body and I’m no longer in constant pain.

Dr Krisht performed a lumbar laminectomy on me a few weeks ago. He took time to explain the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions. I am 2 weeks out from surgery as I write this. Most of my postop pain has resolved and the pre- operative pain is gone. Dr Krisht was both kind and competent.

Saved our life!!! So pleased that we had Dr. Krisht. The best man as a doctor, so kind and gentle!! He does the job and studies his results to give you the best plan and results! He stood by me as the caregiver and the patient in every way!! His bedside manner is like older doctors, used to be!! He was great in his surgery and we got exactly what they told us during the surgery, as far as communication! Thank you so very much!! Dr. Krisht is great and his nurse, Katlin was so kind and would call to check on us and give us information so well!! She took so much stress off of the caregiver by calling and speaking so kindly!! Both are the best of the best!! Thank you!!!!!

Dr. Krisht is absolutely amazing! Kind,caring,just alk around wonderful. I can't say enough good things about him. He literally saved my husband's life. I thank god we were sent to him.

I arrived at St Vincents hospital in Sherwood on May 7th 2021 for my surgery unable to walk and experiencing HORRIBLE pain Dr Khaled Krisht did my surgery that day. I never doubted his ability to do exactly what he said he would. Post-op recovery went without any problems or concerns. Yesterday, June 23 I saw Dr Krisht for my first post op visit and I could not wait to see him and tell him that I have absolutely NO pain or problems. Dr Krisht gave me my life back when others could not. I thank God for Dr Krisht every day. He is an awesome person, surgeon, and man. I can never repay him for saving my life. AND...WOW....Katelyn, Dr Krisht's RN is just as awesome as Dr Krisht ;-)) She has called me every Wednesday for 6 weeks just to check on me and see if I need anything. She is as compassionate as Dr K. ! Together they make a wonderful team !!! Thank you Dr Krisht and thank God for putting you in my life. Great Doctor... Does it get any better!

This is by far the best suregeon and doctor I've ever had the amount of care and compassion he has for his patients is amazing he listened to me and helped me to get to a place in my health where I feel better then I did even with just having surgery before I was discharged he showed me images of everything he did so I wasn't just left blinded by what he had done to me during surgery and I've never gotten that from another surgeon before he is just all around hands down the best surgeon and Dr. I've had caring for me if I could I would give him 100 stars

Dr. Krisht followed up on my third stroke with an MRI and a follow-up MRI to make sure it wouldn't happen again. His persistence in this was much appreciated. He is attentive and thorough, making sure there were no questions unanswered, and we asked a lot of questions, both related and not. I don't have another appointment but he said to call with any questions we might come up with. His nurse Katelyn was who we talked with to arrange the visit, and she was also just as helpful. Kudos to all. I can't say enough good things!

Top Notch No Question about it

He performed my emergency microdisketomy. So far so good. No more shooting burning pain down leg.

I am truly blessed also thankful to have had Khaled Krisht,MD as my doctor I just can't thank him enough.
