10/10 recommend Dr. Soomro! Very professional and cares about his patients! I’ve never had a better experience with a doctor who actually cares and listens to what is going on with his patients to include checking on them to see if medication is working properly or if something needs to be changed and I haven’t had the problem of having to switch from medications to other medications he diagnosed and treated correctly the FIRST time. Very thorough with seeing what is “wrong” and seeking a solution that works for you. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in Columbus Georgia!

Dr. Soomro’s practice is a disorganised mess! He is quite lenient in his prescription of medication. He prescribed Klonopin for me three times a day. I could not function and when I brought this to his attention he said “well take what you can”! The office is not run on scheduled appointments but rather on a “first come first serve” system. If a patient with a 2 o’clock appointment registers before your noon appointment you are seen after that patient. I have NEVER encountered this! I am done!

I cannot put into words how impactful Dr. Soomro has been to my personal growth. He is the first Psychiatrist I have ever been to that actually takes the time to listen to what is really going on in ones life. This is something you dont see alot of in Psychotherapy and for that I am grateful to his services.

I felt coerced into taking too much of a controlled substance, Klonopin. The contract I had to sign to receive services with him stated you had to follow his directions exactly. I stated my hesitation but he didn't offer a choice in the matter. So I figured maybe he knew best. Not before long I was over sedated. I was so tired, I would nap at any chance I could get. My husband was so sad and angry seeing me like this. I had no energy. I couldn't continue this so I found a better doctor.

Job well done. Dr Soomo is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He does take his time with his patients so there may be some waiting. Also Dr Soomro is in the process of restoring an old antebellum home for his office so it is a work in progress. But I assure his skills are golden.

Dr. Soomro was very caring about helping me make a huge transition in my life. His staff worked me into a first-time appointment quickly, and then a same-day follow-up one week later. He helped in multiple aspects of my well-being.
