Dr. Khalida Anwar, MD

If I could give Dr. ANWAR a negative rating, negative would. She has absolutely no rapport with patients, consistently shows no interest in her patients' conditions or issues, doesn't remember anything about her patients from one visit to the next, and is lacking in curiosity about how to help her patients effectively manage pain, seeming to be more focused on their drug usage than on their quality of life. Bluntly put, she's awful. She should do research, not patient work. Ever.

This Doctor does not listen or take into consideration to what you say let alone even look at your results from MRI or xrays. This Doctor will shift your appointments around, drive 3 hour round trip rather than a 20 min trip and you wait over an hour. This Doctor will string you along appointment after appointment with no relief, but they do offer excellent billing practices. In my years of seeing Doctors this by far is the worst, I would rather pay my attorney than give anything to this Doctor

After first steroid epidural shot (L5) which did not ease my mom's pain, she recommended shot at different location (S1). However when we arrived for the second shot and I asked which location she will get the injection, she replied L5. I told her our discussion last time, which she replied I don't remember and referred to her notes, which she obviously did not include our discussion. Then she said we could try L4, which is the opposite direction! I'm finding another doctor for my mom.

I would urge you to find different care. Dr. Anwar spent more time letting me know that she was an important Dr than listening to my Mothers health concerns. She had given us some details at the first visit that she denied ever saying at the second visit. She stated that the reason for my Moms pain was from two diagnosis that my Mom doesn't even have or even is a candidate for. In my opinion, Dr. Anwar is a liability. I have no confidence in Dr. Anwar or her ability to treat.

I saw dr anwar once, actually twice, the 2nd time was to have her revise my medical records, she totally screwed everything up! Then said I told her incorrectly. Very rude & unprofessional! I needed to be treated for 2 injuries; she could only address 1, so refered me to another pain management Doctor. I gave 1 Star, because the best thing that came out of my visit was a referral to Dr. Philip! I stuck with him for both injuries & he did great keeping my injuries separate for litigation purposes

If I could give 0 stars if I could. She was the most unprofessional Doctor I've had to date. (And I have seen quite a few bad doctors) She however, never treated me as a actual person. She never listened, she never had ANY treatment that helped (so I essentially paid thousands of dollars for unnecessary/painful and invasive procedures) even in her after visit summaries she consistently put incorrect information (including my sex). I have never been this dissatisfied with a care giver. DO NOT GO!
