Excellent patient advocate. Goes above and beyond to monitor your care both within her practice and most importantly beyond to include monitoring the care you receive at other medical facilities including hospitals and emergency rooms. Her staff are equally committed to your care. It is truly like having a doctor in the family who knows you and cares for you and about you. Her opinions are honest and she never hesitates on finding second opinions on issues or health concerns. My husband and I both have long term health concerns but with the support of her and her staff we feel confident we are getting the best of care.

I have a complicated history. Dr. Stepkovitch spent approximately 2 hours with me during my last visit. She got everything straightened out with my various specialists and other issues. Nobody does that.

Dr. Stepkovitch has provided not only outstanding care from year to year, thoroughly testing and advising me with regard to numerous health issues, but also working with my cardiologist after i under when CABG surgery and advising me in regard to that as well. She has been outstanding in all respects and provided excellent care and medical advice.

This doctor charges a membership fee yearly. It is a disgusting practice and makes medical care inaccessible even if you are insured. It is clear she doesn't care about her patients based on this practice and is a very unethical doctor. Do not recommend. Please do not support this person. I am appalled.

Charges a "membership fee" to be a patient. Believes only wealthy should have access to health care. $1900 a year to be a member to be seen by her.

I have been to several geriatricians at Upstate and Crouse. Unfortunately, I have been bounced around with my mother for 3 years now. I was never satisfied with the care that the doctors provided...everything felt very rushed. Finally, my search came to an end when I visited the office of Dr. Khatuna Stepkovitch. She is the most caring and competent doctor I have met so far. I cannot express the gratitude I feel to have found someone that takes her time with my mother and truly cares!

I have a great deal of respect and confidence in Dr Stepkovitch’s abilities. I myself have been her patient for over 8 years. After my parents’ internist seemed indifferent to their increasing needs, I switched them to Dr Stepkovitch’s practice and was extremely pleased with her availability and knowledge in attending to them as well. She couldn’t be more qualified or caring.

One of the nicest physicians I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She spent a lot of time with me, was very detailed when it came to the appointment, and really made me feel extremely comfortable. I think it's hard to find doctors that spend the amount of time with a patient as Dr. Stepkovitch does. I feel so lucky to have found such a great general practitioner. I have already recommended to my husband to switch and will recommend her to anyone looking for a great doctor!
