This doctor treated me when I was a teenager. He was rude and dismissive of my issues and blamed my weight which led to years of mental health issues, an eating disorder, as well significantly delaying getting actual treatment for my medical issues because he made me afraid of medical professions. Dr. Al-Zouhayli refused to take the time to look into my concerns on a deeper level because he was too busy calling me (at the time a TEENAGE GIRL) fat and mentally ill because I didn't feel well....

AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS! ONLY CARES ABOUT $
Where do I begin?! The office wait times are atrocious. By the time he comes in to see you (which for me was over an hour after my scheduled appointment time), he spends MAX 4 minutes with you. Charged my insurance over $2,000 for nonsense! It's clear he only cares about getting a check, and couldn't care less about his patients because he lacks bedside manner and common courtesy. As someone who works in the medical field, take my advice, save yourself a huge headache and a large bill and GO ELSEWHERE!!

Avoid At All Costs
All the reviews mentioning wait time are accurate. 2 hours of wait time at least, and itll be for him to spend 4 minutes tops in that room with your child. In all the years we were there, he never once ordered a blood draw to check how my son metabolizes the epilepsy medication to make sure its the proper dosage, nor any blood draw to check the Vit D, as this medication forces the liver to metabolize it at a much higher rate; therefore my son's Vitamin D was dangerously low for years. His bedside manner is hideous, he's rude, he refuses to listen to any concerns about medications, nor changes in behaviour, makes snide remarks about you personally and makes sure you realize he doesnt care for your child's health overall. In all those years, i was never once rude -tho both he and his staff certainly are. We found an amazing replacement doctor and I regretted not leaving earlier. Love your child enough to know they deserve better than this man.

The best of the best. Do not listen to the negative reviews! He truly cares about his patients and he's the only pediatric neurologist I'd trust with my kids. Does not medicate unless he truly believes it would benefit the child. Yes, he makes small talk, but that's because he's a nice person and it helps patients feel more comfortable. I'd rather have that, than a mean grump for a doctor! The wait is worth it. I just make sure I schedule on less hectic days.

He's nice and all, And I feel like he cares BUT the obnoxious wait time to see him makes this place the worst honestly. No doubt about it you are waiting 1-2 hours to see him JUST for him to talk to you for less than 5 min and be on your way. I would not recommend this doctor unless you got nothing but time on your hands

He has no bedside manners at all; he is judgmental and actually took my child by the arm very roughly...as a doctor can't make full review; he does do tests before just assigning a diagnosis, which I respect. However, made fun of my speech and asked too many personal questions that had nothing to do with my child's well-being.
