Dr. Kiet Loc, MD

She took time to ask a LOT of questions, ordered tests, and then did a complete evaluation. She explained the diagnosis, the symptoms I should look for, and where I could find further information. I highly recommend her.

My wife is, or rather was, a cash patient of Dr Loc, after treatment in Saddleback Hospital. Dr Loc refused to complete pre authorization paperwork for a CTV scan, resulting in us having to pay $2k in cash, rather than having the scan covered by our insurance which is accepted at Mission Hospital. The Drs staff did not answer the phone or return messages for a month as we tried to figure out the problem, effectively running out the clock on an appointment that had been rescheduled once already. When I visited Dr Loc's office the try to make some progress I was informed that Dr Loc will not it overtime to enable her staff to catch up on messages and will not complete my paperwork as I am not with an insurance company she works with. (It would have taken 5 minutes). Another patient overheard my conversation and stated that, in her opinion, "They don't care if we live or die here", and went on to say that she was on the verge of a breakdown due to this poor service. Do NOT use this Dr!

Let's get this out of the way. No one is ever thrilled to visit a neurologist because they are dealing with something being out of whack with their body. Today was my first visit with Dr. Loc. She was very thorough in her exam, addressed my concerns and alleviated any fears I had going in. Even though she feels confident in her diagnosis she ordered an MRI to cover all the bases. She had a great demeanor and was friendly and approachable. That little pat on my back before she walked away to her next patient tells me she's a caring person. I appreciate her style.

Dr Loc staff made a telephone appointment with us for 2:30 pm on Thursday. She never called, even though her staff called us beforehand to verify the appointment. Numerous calls and msgs to the office went unanswered. The next day they called and said they did not know why she didn’t call, but they might be able to fit us in their schedule 2 WEEKS later! What the heck! We ALREADY waited weeks for the first time. I was then told she would call today. Friday, and again no call whatsoever. This is totally unacceptable. Time to fid a better doctor!

Dr Loc showed great interest in me. The testing she did on me seemed very thorough. I loved how happy and energetic she was. I hope not to have more neurological problems, but I will go to her again, if needed.

If you want a Dr that has zero human attachment and sees you as nothing more than a number on a chart. This is your Dr. Loc your doctor!!

Steer clear, don’t waste your time seeing this doctor. Had an appointment with this doctor for my elderly mother, who did not introduce herself nor took the time to hear out my moms symptoms. I expressed my Mother may have had a stroke, she said no and insisted it was from a previous stroke. I asked for an MRI and was told due to the holidays she won’t be able to get it in but we can admit her to the ER. Took her in to the ER that same day. Stroke was confirmed in the ER. The ER doctor called Dr. Loc with the prognosis. Her response was she was off for the rest of the week and will have her associate visit her the following day. This was our 1st visit/experience and it is our last. Being a star is required I will say, Dr. Loc is not worthy of a star.

Waited 2 hours. Dr. Loc was very unprofessional and uncaring. Would not recommend her to anyone

With the rude office Staff and a Last minute cancellation of an Appointment I decided not seek Dr. Loc's services.

EXCELLENT!

I went to Dr. Loc after experiencing debilitating headaches with excruciating pain. She came highly recommended from hospital nursing staff. She treated me with extreme compassion and professionalism. She did thorough testing and has been treating me since. Her expertise along with her empathy make her an extraordinary physician. I am grateful to have found her.

I was misdiagnosed by her and what's worse than that she wanted to put a shunt in my head. I decided to get a second opinion at UCI and I was cleared from MS and I avoided a shunt. Always get a second opinion if you can.

Waited almost two hours to see Dr. Loc on both visits at different times of day. She saw me less than 5 minutes both times.
