I did a walk-in appt at 138th St Saxony location Fishers and entire staff was courteous and informative. I hardly waited to be seen and had thorough assessment, X-rays, consultation and recommendation for my knee issue. Found good option if I need to return because my previous surgeon from 17 yrs ago also does rotations there so I can do an actual scheduled appointment if I need further consultation. Dr. Carter is professional and friendly as he provided informative options and care. Highest recommendation to this location!!

Dr. Carter reviewed my EKG and lab results for my upcoming shoulder surgery with me. He performed a physical exam as well.He discussed his findings with me in a very precise manner and very clearly answered all of my questions.He is very easy to speak with and treated me with great respect and friendliness.My appointment with him and his nurse was right on time. As a walk-in, I expected a wait; however, everything - from the front desk to registration to testing to diagnosis and treatment was quick and seamless. Dr. Carter asked good questions, was thorough in his exam and provided me with treatment options that made sense. I’m very grateful and impressed.

Dr. Carter was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained the X-ray findings clearly, and suggested an injection to relieve arthritis pain. I was very satisfied with my treatment.

The facility was clean and pleasant. It's really nice e to have a walk-in option. Everyone was very professional.

Highly recommend Central Indiana Orthopedics in general and Dr. Carter specifically! The staff was amazing and he was so patient with me. They all listened to my concerns and I am looking forward to working with them as we fix my upper arm issue.

He is soooo chill. Listens to what you want and makes suggestions for the best outcome. I have had many orthopedic procedures. His job is to tell you what he thinks but he also listens to you in regards to your concerns. He takes whatever time you need to voice your concerns. They are lucky to have him. I am blessed to have found this practice.

Excellent visit!! Every concern addressed!! We felt Dr Carter was truly interested in every question. We were truly blown away by the visit. I called them back today and left a message thanking them again!!

I have now had Dr. Carter treat me twice. I am very happy with his demeanor, ability to listen, communicate with and treat me. Seeing as I am both active and aging with pervious joint issues I will be using him anytime something flares. I like the practice is private.

Dr. Carter was polite and thorough. He took his time and discussed all the things wrong with my kids knee. He prescribed a great physical therapist that actually helped. We had been seeing another orthopedist for a year and saw little improvement. My child had been wearing a knee brace and taking strong NSAIDs for a year. Finally she is no longer wearing a brace. Does her exercises and tapes her own knee as needed. No more NSAIDs or brace. We are happy. Would highly recommend Dr. Carter and the CIO physical therapists.

He was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He told us the options for my treatment, the process of the treatment, and everything went exactly as he told us.

I called for an appointment and was in to see Dr. Carter the very next day. The staff were all very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Cárter has a very pleasant voice and manner. He went over all my treatment options with me in depth and helped me make the best choice. I have had cortisone shots done previously by another doctor and was, quite honestly, terrified to have them again due to the excruciating pain they caused. Dr. Cárter used an ultrasound to guide him in placing the shots (both hands), so he only had to give me one shot in each hand. He was extremely gentle and explained what he was doing at each step. Although still painful, these shots hurt nowhere close to what the ones I had previously did. The next time I have to have them (hopefully not for a year or two) I will definitely go back to Dr. Cárter. I would highly recommend both him and CIO.

He saw my daughter in a timely manor and was very patient with my 4 year old. I didn’t feel rushed at all during my visit with all my questions. Highly recommend!!

Personable, knowledgeable, listens well.

His bedside manner is great! Even though the surgery i got done didn’t fix my problem, he referred me to another doctor but doctor Carter actually listens to you and wants you to get better.

He was very kind, informative and explained what the problem was and what he was going to do to help the situation improve.

Dr. Carter was knowledgeable, kind, and listened. I would definitely recommend him and Central Indiana Orthopedics.
