Dr. Hecht is one of the most empathetic, intuitive and caring providers I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. It is no surprise she is booked ot for months in advance- there is a reason! It is too bad she can't be cloned. She is very special. Her whole-person approach to care and her ability to see beyond the physical process and consider the spirit, soul and mind is what guides her healing hands. She is uniquely gifted.

Want the center to achieve ratings like mine at every turn.. Need to recruit and retain exceptionally patient focused physicians and support staff in this pioneering integrative mission. It seems that it needs a larger investment to successfully launch it, and allow the UCI system to gain the notoriety that a thriving integrative component will add.

When I originally scheduled the appointment in March, her first availability was July. I asked to be placed on the waitlist. When contacted about an opening, I took a day off just to see Dr Hecht earlier.

UCI Integrated Health is very unique. I am very happy to be part of this clinic. I see Dr Hecht she is beyond wonderful, compassionate and caring. She makes me feel like I'm her only patient. How refreshing from my other care givers at Memorial or Hoag. From the moment you enter the building, the reception desk is welcoming and friendly. On several occasions they have remembered my name. Once upstairs the check in staff and appointment follow up staff are just wonderful. It saddens me that the rest of my providers are not as caring and friendly as UCI Integrated health. I don't see anyone else at UCI so cannot comment. My only suggestion is that the wait time between appointments is very long or if you need to make an appointment ASAP you are put on waiting list. This is fine, and often an opening appointment from a cancellation is available. The staff is great at following up on the wait list. I am also hearing impaired, so my wife is always with me. The entire staff is very accommodating once they know I don't hear. Thank you for providing an excellent program with such dedicated medical professionals. [staff name removed] Irvine, CA

Dr. Kim Hecht was very personable and knowledgeable. She has a great sense of humor and has great people skills. I would definitely refer her to family and friends. She was very accommodating and advised me to send a reminder in My Chart in a couple of weeks so that I could possibly be seen sooner.

Great experience. Dr. Hecht was familiar with my rare condition, unlike 6 previous treating physicians who did not know much about the condition, let alone how to treat it!

Dr Hecht is very thorough in every appointment. She listens well and addresses all issues.

I think my expectations for UCI are too high I guess. Based on the reputation, I thought UCI was kind of the premier medical center and I had this idea of a level of customer service that just doesn't exist. Over and over again, with many offices, I fail to get calls back, communication is a challenge, and appointments are practically impossible to get. I waited maybe 6 months for this appointment and Dr. Hecht's next appointments are another 6 months out. That makes it pretty hard to continue with a course of care. I had follow up questions and didn't hear back from staff. Dr. Hecht was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. But what does that matter if the customer service in the office doesn't support the patients and you can't get an appointment? The staff was very friendly and I was honestly surprised there was terrible follow up. I just expect more from UCI and PPO insurance. This is as bad as when I had an HMO and just went to a regular office. I actually have waited a shorter time for specialists through my HMO.

They have provide all supplement cheaper to patients to get them
