Dismissive
I came into the ER with RUQ pain that had been off and on for months. He completely dismissed me and said my pain couldn't have been that severe if I was just now coming into the ER. Once a physician finally listened to me and ordered a HIDA scan, we found out that my gallbladder was only functioning at 3% and needed to be removed. Does not listen to or respect patients, even if they are colleagues in the medical field.

I visited the ER for a stomach bug (severe vomiting). He was very dismissive of my concerns; he almost treated me as if I had nefarious intentions for coming into the ER (though I don't know what kind of drugs you could get for a gastrointestinal issue). Not only was he rude, but he also could not provide sufficient answers to my questions.

I was sent to the ED by my doctor, with a high fever after a procedure, in pain. I believe this doctor felt I was a drug seeker, wasting his time, as he was impatient, talked over my questions and even karate chopped the area of pain, even after I told him just his stethoscope on this area hurt! He finally came around after a CT ordered by my other doctor, revealed the issue. Too bad he didn’t have the patience to treat me well that day.
