Dr. Kimberly Crawford, MD

Based on other reviews, it sounds like many of Dr. Crawford's patients are happy with her. I did not have a good experience. She gave me a limp, cringe-worthy handshake, barely looked at me at all, and made little to no eye contact. Instead, she looked at her computer screen the whole time. She did not crack a smile. When I mentioned that my family member had died by suicide, all she said was, "Yes, ma'am." I did not find her relatable, warm, caring, or empathetic. She is not the kind of person I want to have a doctor-patient relationship with. She left the room for a couple minutes, during which time I texted my husband, "What a cold fish this doctor is." I chose not to go back.

Dr Crawford comes into the room and listens to what you have to say. She reflects back to check for understanding. She tells you options for treatment and answers all your questions.She has a calm voice, good eye contact and comforting smile. She answers messages sent through the portal quickly. Responds to request for refilling medication correctly and quickly.

I have been a patient of Dr Crawford since 2014. She has always been attentive, professional and an effective guardian of my health. Bless her.

I have been Dr Crawford's patient for eight years and cannot say enough nice things about her. She is vey caring about her patients. She answers your questions. I whole heartedly recommend her. With her help in the past eight years, I will be 95 years young this month.

Dr. Crawford is very thorough and will listen to your concern. She takes her time with you and will not rush your appointment. How refreshing to have a Doctor who will have a conversation with you as a person and not just another patient. I have so much confidence in her medical knowledge and diagnosis. I wish I would have met Dr. Crawford years ago!

I’ve been going to Dr. Crawford for over five years, and she has always given me consistently excellent care. She is always willing to listen to my concerns, and, while she recommends various health options, we discuss my care options together. I’ve rarely had a doctor who has taken the time to really do that.

Dr. Kim Crawford, Plano Internal Medicine, is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She is smart, kind, thoughtful, and is a gifted physician. She treats her patients like the adults they are and is the patient’s partner is good health. The office staff is always helpful and efficient. I’ve never had to sit in the waiting room for long. She has been a true blessing to me.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Crawford for several years. I was never overwhelmed by her, as a physician, but we continued to see her because it seemed easier than finding a new doctor. However, we recently learned she wasn't capturing accurate info in my husband's medical records. Upon learning this we made the request to have her correct the info. During that visit she said she would make the updates. Since that time, she will not return calls or respond to portal messages. We have attempted to contact her for 6 weeks and have only been given "let me check with her" from the nurse. It's very disappointing that a physician would treat a patient of many years this way. I do not recommend Dr. Kimberly Crawford, if accurate medical records and responsiveness are important to you.

Many times Dr. Crawford has incorrectly refilled my RXs. She has also referred me to physicians that do not accept Medicare.

I have referred my daughter after she had unsatisfactory experience with her prior Dr. She immediately was so impressed with Dr Crawford's knowledge and compassion for her patients. I tell everyone if they want a Dr that will listen and address your problems to go to Dr. Crawford.

Not only is Dr Crawford one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever had, she is without a doubt the kindest. Her compassion and eagerness to provide excellent health care immediately puts me at ease. I feel confident that I am in the best hands. I can’t imagine seeing anyone else.

I have seen Dr. Crawford for 3 years and and feel very confident with her medical care. She is very knowledgeable and knows when a condition needs to be treated by another provider who has another expertise. She is concerned about her patients and responds promptly to email messages and will call me if there is a problem she needs to discuss with me. She is friendly and I feel very comfortable in her office. The nurses, staff, and lab technicians are all very responsible and caring.
