Dr. Laughman was truly the first doctor who listened to each and every concern of mine... we literally went over 23 years of issues and she was there for every single complaint, often through crying. She explained what was going on, which no doctor had ever done before if you can believe it, even drawing a picture of my uterus for me. She came up with a treatment plan and a backup plan which was so comforting. At the end, I wasn't crying because of my many issues, I was crying out of gratitude. Best of all, she actually asked if I was interested in pregnancy instead of just assuming I was as a woman in my 30s. When I told her no, she dropped the issue and didn't try to convince me I'd change my mind, which is SO rare. Other providers have been incredibly condescending to me regarding pregnancy.Shoutout to nurse Wendy for starting the appointment off on the best foot tons of kindness & the front desk staff who are lovely, efficient & make the admin side of the appointment a breeze.

This was my first time ever seeing an OBGYN having moved from Canada. Dr. Laughman and her team were very friendly, thorough and took my perimenopause concerns seriously. During the appointment, she found a lump in my breast and her handling of that situation was fantastic, not raising alarm and showing me how to find it myself. While it's not the news you want to hear, I appreciated her empathy and kindness. Everyone in this office was pleasant to deal with, kind and thoughtful. If you're younger and suspect perimenopause, I highly recommend this team - everyone took me seriously and I feel comfortable I have advocates for my health. The portal for the results was super quick and I appreciate being able to see the results instead of 'wait for no phone call'.

I had been waiting to become a new patient of Dr. Laughman due to my prior gynaecologist leaving the practice, and I’m so glad I did! She was amazing! She was extremely kind and thorough when answering questions regarding my concerns. I know she had back-to-back appointments that day yet it didn’t feel rushed at all. Typically, I feel slightly uneasy during an annual exam, but she talked me through everything and I could tell my comfort was her number one priority. Dr. Laughman listened to my all of my concerns and thoroughly answered all of my questions. She provided great care during my procedure and made sure I was comfortable throughout. After the procedure, she followed up with me via phone call to discuss my results and to see how I was doing. Dr. Laughman genuinely cares about her patients and is there every step of the way to ensure her patients have a positive experience.
