Mistake seeing this doctor
Have had gynecological discomfort for a couple weeks, so decided to make an appt. Dr. Halperin was booked all week so I took an appt with Napolitano. The appt was the fastest most abrupt one I've had to date. Neither the nurse nor Napolitano asked me when my last period was ( as women we are asked this when we have a eye or dentist appt so not being asked at a gyne appt was weird) She said it looks like a yeast infection ( since you were on antibiotics a month ago) but I'm not going to run a test, and just give you the cream. I asked her if a cream would be effective since I'm starting my period soon and she said, well normally I don't prescribe pills but I'll give it to you. She then walked out. Didn't ask me if there was anything else or if I had any questions. I was there for literally under 5 minutes. I don't know if this is her typical bedside manner or because I'm younger and she treats 20 somethings with little to no respect. I did have other questions but she was gone.

Patient for over 20 Years
I love Dr. Napolitano. She delivered my first two children and I have been going to see her since I was 21. She is straight to the point and helped me with all my fears around having my first child. She helped keep it simple and straightforward and not to spend too much time reading books and articles that could cause unnecessary worrying. She put me at ease and made me laugh and realize that childbirth has been going on forever and to enjoy the experience. She is the absolute best and could not recommend her more highly. I'm setting up my daughter (who she delivered) first appointment with her.Super down to earth, loves what she does, and truly cares.

Horrible bedside manner. Dismissed my concerns at appointments and during labor. Would laugh at my concerns or when I said I was in pain. She told me she would coach me on pushing. She yelled at me and told me everything I was doing was wrong. When we asked if she would change her approach she left the room and when she came back continued to yell. She was very unprofessional when talk about me and another patient while I was in the room.

Terrible. Her concern for pain was none existent. She was more about getting it done to move on then how i was feeling. Having an IUD take out to put in a new one was the worst experience ever. She didn't say what she was doing jut doing it BIG HURRY. Left the office distraught. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Horrible bed side manner, horribly educated individual and shouldn't work with patients. She had me leave me Apts frustrated and crying. The main reason I left the practice midway thru my pregnancy. She brushes concerns off, like severe very constipation and says it's not like your gonna push your baby out if you push to hard. Umm but according to my lower gi doctor I can cause other health issues. Just don't waste your time if you like to be an active participant in your pregnancy.

She disregarded my concerns that I may need a c section for the whole pregnancy and made me feel crazy. 27 horrific hours into labor and 3 hours of pushing my fears were realized and I needed the c section. She waited way too long and I regret ever working with her. I wish I had kept looking for a dr that would listen to me. Both of her partners acknowledged before hand I had more than a 50% chance of needing a c section but she would not schedule one.
