Considerate
She was patient, thorough and considerate. After a visit to a different ER with a bad experience, went to St. Joe’s 2 days later with worsening symptoms and Dr. Ohman was extremely helpful. Spent adequate time in the room, got imaging done, did a more thorough exam than was previously done and helped with pain management both during the visit and made a plan for moving ahead. Was happy to answer questions and had good bedside manner.

Absolutely awful. Does not care about her patients whatsoever. Takes it upon herself to answer questions without asking PTs first. When asked if someone could be sent home with something to keep them out of pain for their Gout, she basically told them to deal with it, and "that's Gout" (insert shoulder shrug) She then stated she was giving the PT something that helps with the pain of Gout... which was her loop hole. She didn't give anything for pain, just to help with swelling which will later help the pain. She is cold and heartless and should NOT be a Dr. treating patients with any type of pain. Shame on St. Joes for allowing her to remain employed after the negative reviews, (and complaints) about her. Our nurse even told us that we are not the first to complain about her... and how she treats patients.

I found Dr. Ohman to be kind and caring. She calmly explained care options with us at a difficult time.

Dr. Ohman was cold, rude, unsympathetic and rough with me. Not too pleasant of a feeling when you're in a vulnerable state
