Excellent, personalized, thorough care. Dr. Phillips never makes me feel rushed and she always listens most compassionately.

Dr.Phillips refused to see for an emergency appointment. I felt some telling symptoms while at work, called Dr.Phillips office and made an emergency appointment. I work in Norfolk and high-tailed it to Newport News while being in extruishiating pain and arrived 6 mins late. When I checked in I was told that she refused to see e because I was 10 minutes late and that I needed to go to the ER, which cost me $3k in medical expenses.

Seems like a decent doctor, the 5mins I'm in there with her doesn't make a big difference in opinion but then they bugged me for two weeks to leave a review and I get it but please don't badger patients for feedback. I guess when I need to see a doctor I'll go back cause it's not like shopping at the mall vs online.

Dr Phillips was wonderful. She listened to you , took notes , and explained recommendations after discussing problems I was having..

I have been a patient for a few years now. I find Dr. Phillips to be very thorough. She is careful to explain all medical tests and to ask if you have questions concerning them. What impresses me most is that she seems to know when it is better for her to refer a patient out to a specialist rather than attempt to handle a situation outside of her chosen field. Then she keeps up with your progress -- reminding you to have the specialist send her a report. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Phillips to others.

Times change and conditions call for compromises. Not being able to see your doctor face to face is not the end of personal care but an opportunity to explore new options while still feeling secure with your medical professional. Dr. Phillips is a very skilled and knowledgeable person but still maintains a caring manner. Bringing us up to date on more modern methods of correspondence while still telling us to eat our vegetables is a fine line she handles well. We are quite happy with her.
