Non Concern Medical Provider
I am writing to bring to your attention some concerns I have regarding the care provided by Dr. Kimbra Bell. Unfortunately, my recent interactions with Dr. Bell have left me feeling neglected and frustrated.During my loved one's appointment, it was evident that Dr. Bell appeared indifferent and did not allocate sufficient time to address our health concerns. Her demeanor came across as rude, and there was a perceived lack of genuine concern for my loved one's well-being. Furthermore, I am disappointed by the apparent absence and neglect of reviewing the patient chart during our visits. Dr. Bell seems to lack proactive measures to ensure that health concerns are adequately addressed. As a patient, I firmly believe that effective communication and genuine concern from healthcare providers are essential for a positive patient experience. Regrettably, my encounters with Dr. Bell have fallen short of these expectations.

She is indifferent and does not spend time addressing my health issues. I had requested testing because of heart issues. I was told by her nurse that she would not order an EKG because it was not time for my physical! I was stunned. Well what if I have an issue and my physical is months away? Would not recommend.

Dr. Kimbra Bell I have been Dr. Bell’s patient for over 20 years. She is patient, knowledgeable, understanding and explains things clearly. I’ve never felt rushed when I’m with her. She promptly responds to calls or messages left on Northwestern’s MyChart. She is an excellent communicator and caring doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a doctor who really cares and seeks to understand her patients.

Dr. Bell is a superb internal medicine doctor whom I'd highly recommend to individuals seeking a doctor who is focused on properly diagnosing and determining the root cause of a medical condition. and providing the appropriate treatment to patients. Dr. Bell exemplifies professionalism and is one of Northwestern Hospital's dedicated doctors. I have been a patient of hers for 10+ years and can personally attest to my good health being a result of the preventive and medical care provided by her.

Very bad at getting back to her patients. I saw her in May, she did not let me know about my lab results until a month later (July). It wouldn't be so bad if everything was clear but there were a few things on those results that were serious. I always felt she didn't show enough concern, this just confirms it.

I would not recommend Dr. Bell. She has a professional demeanor but did not show concern for the issues that I was dealing with. Her solution to my unusual medical condition was to refer me to specialists and remove herself from my care. When I followed up, she could barely look away from typing at her computer to have a conversation with me about my healthcare. She was quick to offer me medication for my pain to mask the problem, but it didn't solve the root cause of the problem. Disappointing

This was my first visit, so I was concerned about having to pick a doctor without family or professional recommendation. I was very pleased with the doctor's demeanor which was very professional, attentive and precise. Also, appreciated the fact of not being rushed and excellent verbiage that I could understand.
