Dr. Kinjal Suryawala, MD

What I have to say is that the Doctor knows her work very well, treats her patients with respect and dedication and is aware of any problem that may arise. Thank God and to her my son Jeremy has had a favorable quality of life as far as his stomach problem is concerned, my son has been dealing with her for several years and has been the best, because thanks to GOD and to her my son has less stomach pain and it is due to the treatments and diet that the Doctor has recommended me to follow for my son, not to mention that The attention of the staff like nursing assistants like receptionists the girls are very friendly.

Dr. Suryawala is very knowledgeable and thorough. She is the best gastroenterologist my son has had. So glad we found her!

We saw Dr. Suryawala for the first time today, and left with more peace and understanding than we’ve had in the last 3.5 months. She is a phenomenal doctor in terms of validating our concerns, answering all questions, having adequate knowledge and information, great bedside manner, kind and overall made the experience of seeing her a great one. My daughter is 6 months old (our momma and daddy hearts were nervous for such an appointment), and she was able to help us determine an overall treatment plan moving forward. We felt extremely comfortable and confident in her expertise and having her as our doctor.

Superficial diagnostic.

I was extremely pleased with Dr. Suryawala. First the staff was personable and helpful. We didn’t have long to wait for the doctor. She was very knowledgeable about my daughter’s symptoms and explained the condition and possible options. She respected our decision and my daughter and I look forward to the follow up appointment.

Staff was unfriendly and couldn't understand English well. I had to keep repeating myself and spelling everything. They would not allow both parents to go into the exam room. Only one person allowed according to the receptionists, "Corporate policy". Parents and grandparents were devastated and being turned away.

This office is so poorly run, you can not get proper care for your IBD child. Go to Lee Health. After diagnosis (that was delayed due to her lack of urgency for anything and resulted in a 1 week hospital stay), I spent more time on the phone myself trying to get proper tests, orders and medications scheduled while the doctor and office staff let everything fall through the cracks. Right down to the day before my child was scheduled for scopes and I left 7 voicemails asking for instructions, prescription for clean out, and even where we were supposed to go for the procedure. No response. I had to call a partner office on the East Coast and speak to a manager to get help. When it came time to order her next scopes (she personally told me told in 2-3 weeks), it never happened. That was the last straw. I switched my child to another doctor. 6 months later Suryawala called to find out how our child was doing. She never ordered the scopes and did nothing but play the blame-game.

She is caring and very professional. She answered all questions we had. She is very knowledgeable. We were fortunate we took our daughter to her.

Don’t bother. Will not even Look at you unless you have an appointment. Even though labs are not normal will not let you know unless you have an appointment. Forget about her calling you back. Have been waiting over a month. Take your kids to someone who truly cares.

Will not speak to you unless you have an appointment. Will not answer any questions or address any concerns unless you have an appointment. Simply doesn’t care.

She is very caring and knowledgeable in her field. I have been taking my daughter there for some time and I would recommend her to anyone.

She is nice but she is never available or at the office. Every time I call she is not there. I've been waiting for more than a month for her to close and sign a document to send to my pediatrician. I've called multiple times to have it done but she is never there. It's nearly impossible to make an appointment but even with an appointment I was seen 35 min passed my appointment time.
