Dr. Kip Bodi, MD

Dr. Bodi left his boat to see me in an emergency!! On a Saturday!! Who does that nowadays?

My husband discovered that he had cysts on his kidneys after a back ultrasound. Scary for us. Went to Bodi (in our network). Never even closed the door during our first consultation(?). He ordered additional scans and we returned, reports submitted to his office. Again, never even closed the door. Didn’t know why we were there and didn’t read test results before we got there. When I reminded him that he had the results already, he got indignant, went out and read them in the hallway, discussed with staff within earshot (door stayed open the entire appointment) and prescribed 3 medications, wouldn’t explain them when asked and basically shut down the consultation (embarrassed?). Found a new doctor immediately and couldn’t be happier and more assured that we did. Our new doc even commented on Bodi’s “curt” unhelpful patient notes in his report. I think he needs to retire.

As I write this, my appointment was exactly 1hr ago and I'm still sitting here waiting to be seen. About 15 minutes in the waiting room and now in the exam room for 45 minutes. At least the waiting room has magazines and a TV! Bored out of my mind and now going to be late for work. I give him 15 more minutes, then I walk out.8

My husband had schedule an emergency appointment on the same day. He speaks broken English so he asked his co-worker whom speaks a perfect English also spoke to someone who confirmed the appointment. When my husband got to the place he was treated horrible, he was disrespected, looked down and treated like if he had no education. When he is an accounted and also a Theology teacher. The doctor also examined him in a way that hurt him physically and was very rude as well. Oh and when he told the young man in the front that his address was wrong because he had moved he said it didn't matter. Just because my husband is Hispanic doesn't mean his not human. He has been a citizen of this country for 27 years. And shouldn't be waiting for over an hour as well, as been ask to go outsides twice. I will never recommend you ever again to no one.

I am confident that Dr. Bodi is a knowledgable and experienced doctor but the office is a disaster. Scheduling and billing staff is the worst I have come across. It took a week to obtain an authorization for my ct scan after calling the office multiple times. I booked a procedure with the earliest appointment in three weeks and when I showed up for the appointment they didn’t have me scheduled for it. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I have never been more dissatisfied with a doctor’s office. I will never return.

One of the best most thorough doctors I've ever met! And has one of the best bedside manner of all.

I spent 45 minutes in the waiting room after filling out a questionnaire, and spent only 3 minutes in the exam room. I spent a $50 copay for a handshake and a referral to an imaging center for a cat scan. A month later I received a bill from my insurance company and now have to spend $145, my portion of a $736.00 bill to the insurance company. He didn't even examine me. He could have at least pretended to show concern.
