I’m was very impressed with the whole visit from check in to scheduling surgery. Dr. Dorsey relieved my anxiety by his calming manner and detailed explanation of the procedure. He was will to answer any and all questions my daughter and I had. I felt like a boulder had been lifted from my shoulders. I am very grateful to be able to schedule the needed surgery so quickly. While not looking forward to the surgery. I am looking forward to fixing the problem.

Dr Dorsey was great! He explains everything is patient and kind. I had my gull ladder remover and he did a great job. I am very pleased and strongly recommend him.

Dr Dorsey had a very good bedside manner. He explained everything he was doing while he did my biopsy.He was very gentle and checked frequently to see if I was having any pain. I would use him again for any general surgery l may need.

I’m sooo happy with my surgery and experience. Dr. Tip Dorsey did an amazing job repairing my umbilical hernia. It looks great and feels great! The staff there at St John was very knowledgeable and courteous from the beginning to end. Dr. Dorsey listened to all my concerns, and explained in detail how the process worked. He is very patient, and I felt he had a genuine interest in answering all my questions and putting me at ease. Very trustworthy person, and I would highly recommend to anyone!! God Bless him!!!

Had hernia surgery at St Johns hospital BA. Good experience, little to no pain. Dr explained procedure, went just as planned. Office experience was good, friendly and efficient, better than average as per my doctor experiences. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Dorsey is great surgeon. He generally cares about his patients and listens to their concerns. I had part of a pinecone in my foot. When he initially examined my foot, he recommended I have minor surgery to remove the piece. When I went for the surgery, he determined that it was working itself out or dissolving. He then recommended that we not attempt to remove it. Very professional — did not go forward with the surgery just to make money. He did what was best for me, not for his pocketbook. I highly recommend Dr. Dorsey for his professionalism and bedside manner.

Dr. Dorsey did my first ever surgery. He is a compassionate surgeon, with excellent skills. I'd prefer not to have surgery again, but if I do I hope to have Dr. Dorsey and his amazing team take care of me.

I was treated courteously and speedily. First time office visit went smoothly. Dr. Dorsey was professionally and explained thoroughly my needed surgery and answered all of my questions. It was determined that I needed the surgery. Dr. Dorsey then took me to a scheduler who set date for surgery and post operative doctor visit. Went through a list of necessary preparation procedures and clearly stated what were mandatory steps the night before the surgery. The Doctor and scheduler made everything clear and easy.

Dr Dorsey and his staff are simply outstanding. I have absolute trust in his diagnosis and treatment protocol. Highly recommend.

Dr. Dorsey repaired my umbilical hernia 6/19. I am happy with the results. I hope I never hafta have surgery again, but would not hesitate to let this guy do it.
