Dr. Kiran Sachdev, MD

Dr. Sachdev was very thorough and was extremely good at explaining my complicated problem and diagnosis. She is very caring and patient, and I felt that I was in good hands with her. I definitely felt that she wants to help me and that she is up on new technology. Wished there were more doctors like her. I am a retired ICU nurse of 34 years, and have worked closely with countless doctors. She impressed me. All the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of; well organized office.

I'm grateful for the extra tests to help determine what is wrong with me. I'm looking forward to possibly feeling better!

Dr. Sachdev was great. She is very thorough and knowledgeable - she ordered the tests for all the obvious things that might be causing my symptoms, but she also came up with a possible diagnosis/solution that hadn't occurred to any of the other doctors I had seen. She's also clearly well-read on many, many medical issues and, as a result, can offer nuanced advice/opinions instead of generic truisms. I would definitely recommend her to anybody struggling with a medical problem that is difficult to diagnose or treat. My only complaint is that it took quite a while to see Dr. Sachdev, but short of hiring more gastrointerologists, I don't know how UCI could fix this.

The integrative approach seems like a no brainer way to treat patients with GI problems. I am surprised it hasn't been in wide use already.

While I understand the doctor spends a lot of time with patients, I waited over 55 minutes for my appointment and no one seemed to know where I was or where I had been directed. I had to search out staff to find out what was going on after a 30-minute wait. It's the only negativity to my visit that I had which was otherwise excellent, but waiting an hour is kind of rude. I really appreciate everything everybody tried to do, but this is one area that the doctor needs to work on or scheduling needs to work on spacing patients accordingly. Thank you for your time. Bye.

I had a little bit of difficulty with the amount of information that was provided from my records at UCI. I think they should have, I think the records should have been more complete and the doctor was excellent and she was really trying very hard to make sense of everything. Thank you very much.

Dr. Sachdev is wonderful! She listens and treated me with respect. She gave me more good advice and helpful hints than any gastroenterologist has EVER - and I've seen several. I am encouraged that my longstanding issues may finally be better.

Very Professional

Dr Sachdev was very rude and condescending during my visit. She made me feel very uncomfortable even when she was not wearing her lab coat. She also doesn't have any compassion towards her patients. 0/10 would not recommend.

Yes, I'd like to state that , I thought the doctor and her staff were phenomenal. I've never met with a doctor that was this thorough and did such a great job of describing the situation for me. I thought she was fantastic. And so I highly would recommend her. Very pleased with her and I plan to be a patient with hers for a long time.
