Does this not feel wrong
I was referred to Dr Bhalani by my PCP. I was asking for help to manage nerve pain after a TKA in my left knee. We met, he wanted to do a nerve block and needed to do a temporary test block to see if it would help. All of this was to be covered by my insurance. I did the temporary procedure, which was painful, only to be told on my follow up appointment that they knew my insurance coverage would not allow the permanent procedure, and they cannot do the permenent, and I needed to see someone else. They had been advised by Atena long before my appointments and should have known and sent me on after the first visit. Months waiting, months during all of this, and more months trying to schedule with another doctor to find help.

Absolutely horrible, rude, sarcastic , condescending. I called my insurance to report him. My visit took 4 hours. Had to fill out 21 pages !!! of registration paperwork. I walked out, said "I am done". I felt like a felon being interrogated by the police. After the visit, I went to my car, cried, and shaky. Please do NOT go to this dr!!

Waited two hours before substitute doctor entered room. He was excellent. He claimed another patient had trouble after procedure. I understand that quite well but staff should have told us so we could have rescheduled. Staff do not seem very pleasant. They don’t look happy. The sheet on patient table was dirty and pillow smelled like urine.

Visits...was with him for 3 years. I tolerated so much abuse and threats from this nasty human being. His obvious disdain for me made me feel like garbage every visit I could not get epidural injections anymore as I developed Cushing’s syndrome from all the steroids. Therefore, he was losing one of his cash cows. He was kind enough to continue treating me with medications, for some time. I was threatened to be thrown to the streets. I requested a pain pump. It took a year to get that. Once I got it, he did not do anything with it. He essentially gaslighted me. One visit, I told him I had a lot of pain. He raged and screamed at me for my 15 minute visit. I was sobbing and begging him to stop. He just kept yelling. It was so embarrassing as he did this in front of the entire office. Then, I was called in to his office and told not only could he not help me, but, he would not help me. Before he could send me a discharge letter, I found a far superior md to replace him. I FIRED HIM!!

He has been my doctor for about 3 years. He has zero care for you as a pt. His bedside manner is horrific. I have been a victim of his of his rage. I have seen him rage on others, including elderly PT. And kick them out of his practice. He has made tons and tons of money off of our insurance cos. And us. He needs to retire as he is severely BURNED OUT! He’s a disgrace to the practice. He does all these epidurals, which are useless, but lucrative to him. He does them without anesthesia, in his office, which is INHUMANE. I truly think hd enjoys humans being in pain. He needs to be reported to any boards that regulate. He drags out your care, until he can’t do anymore or it’s not making him money, and then he throws you to the streets after he’s done using your body to make him money. He has an excellent staff! Dawn is the BEST! The nurses at the hospital are scared to death of him. He is the reason patients end up committing SUICIDE!! He has pushed me to that final action for pain.

I arrived for my first time visit five minutes ahead of my appointment and was told by the office staff who is sitting in her cubicle in the dark that I needed to leave. I was told to arrive 30 minutes ahead for paperwork and, mind you I had my referral all my testing and results and recent labs with me I can’t imagine it takes 30 minutes to fill out my name and a few checkmarks needless to say he may be a good doctor and I won’t know because I will not be back. I found his office staff extremely rude and fortunately he’s not the only doctor in the sea

Had several imaging done to confirm pinched nerve and all Dr. Bhalani wanted to do was run additional, unnecessary test for a kidney stone. Had to leave to get required treatment as didn't feel her was competent to treat me.

Horrible. I am schizophrenic and I have a phobia of needles to the point of severe panick attacks. He didn't care, called me names and degraded me because i refused to come in everyday for shots. I asked for alternatives he claimed there wasnt any. My psychiatrist said he undid 4 years of therapy with the way he acted. I thought doctors were there to help. I have a lot of severe medical issues and needed help. Very disappointed that a doctor thinks he is above everyone else and belittles his patients.

This Dr. Does not deserve his title. Condescending, raised his voice on multiple occasions when questions were posed about his pressuring on an invasive procedure. He became combative and argumentative when I insisted on more information and stated that he spent enough time with me. Dr. Notes were falsely typed and incorrect, did not review my entire case history nor contact my surgeon per my insistence that he do so. Poor bedside manner and ability to deal with people. God complex
