Wonderful Dr.
I don’t regularly go to Wilkerson or see Dr. Matthews, it just so happen both times my babies were being born he was on rotation! First time was an induced delivery that ended in a c section, he was amazing and super supportive through the entire process! Being terrified I knew I was taken care of! My second was a planned c section but came early due to PE, and thankfully he was there that time as well! Once again, he was so supportive, I was scared because I was only 35 weeks, he also performed my tubal ligation and he walked me through that as well! Super pleased with him as a Doctor both times!

Dr. Matthew performed laparotomy surgery to remove my large dermoid cyst on my left ovarian few months ago. It went very well. He’s also a very kind, caring, and humble doctor. Will definitely recommend him!

Dr. Kirk Matthews is the most patient, kind-hearted doctor I have ever seen! He truly listened to my concerns, followed up with me during out of office hours from his cell to answer my questions, and made sure he was available during my birth! Wonderful attention and bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone. He has delivered both of my girls (2 and 3 months).

Dr. Matthews did not take my concerns for my baby seriously and the end result was me having a stillbirth. He talked to me and treated me like a textbook case instead of treating me like an individual... I never had a good feeling about him and I was right. Now my child is gone!
