Dr. Baca is a Outstanding Physician. She cares deeply for her patients. She is kind, compassionate & gentle. She explains what she is doing iduring a procedure. I am a hard IV start. She personally has come to start my IV before a procedure, to avoid multiple sticks for me...Thankyou so much Dr. Baca for taking such good care of me the last 2 years. I appreciate, and am so grateful for having you as my Pain Medicine provider....

Thank you!
I have seen Dr. Baca since 2017. She is very knowledgeable at what she says. As well as her PA Alayna. Before I was getting an injection in my low back once a year. I was pain free for a year until I had to repeat. The providers know who to refer out if needed. I feel they referred me to the best surgeon for my neck.. Recently I have had to do more in junctions due to an auto accident. The injections don't work over night, it is a process. And I understand that. The staff handled the prior authorization for the injections and they was approved fast.

Poorly ran office
Communication is very poor at this office. Not only is the communication poor, but the receptionist isn't very kind, she either she hates her job or is overworked. You never get a live person to answer and when you're in severe pain you NEED to be seen today or at least the next day. She offers a week or more later. What good is a pain clinic when you can't get into them? Very poorly ran clinic. Which is sad, because Dr. Bacca when you see her and not the PA is very good at what she does. Sadly, they need to re-vamp their system and schedules to help those in dire pain the day of. Put in several pre-set emergency spots that only gets filled for day of appointments so there's openings when someone calls who's been in severe pain all weekend. Have the receptionist be tender hearted towards a person who has been in tears all night and weekend from pain. Compassion goes a long way for the person in pain and towards any caretakers of that person who have heard them cry out in pain

Dr Baca is a god send! If it weren't for her I wouldn't be standing up at all. She found out what was going on and help me get the surgery I needed and has been treating me for pain related to arthritic in my spine. I would recommend her whole heartedly. And her staff are just top notch and so wonderful.

I've been seeing Dr. Baca for a couple years now and she's an amazing doctor! She listens to where your pain is and does everything in her power to make it manageable. My main complaint is that there are long wait times and when you call the office no one ever answers the phone. Even if you leave a message, you're lucky if you get a call back! Even when you call the front desk to make an appointment, no one answers, you have to leave a message! I've never seen anything like it! Then you'll be lucky if you get your prescriptions sent to your pharmacy on time as well. I think the only reason I stay is because Dr. Baca is so great!

Been a patient for approx 2 years - I have a lot of bad discs in my thoracic & cervical spine. Dr. Baca is well educated and very thorough when you visit. Actually just had an injection 2 days ago and already feel relief. Unfortunately back issues can be so difficult to treat effectively. I really appreciate Dr. Baca and her staff - they are a great team!

I traveled over 100 miles to go to Dr. Baca because of her excellent reputation. I spent about 40 minutes in the waiting room, about 30 minutes answering extensive questions the nurse asked, only to be asked all the same questions by the doctor; she didn't even read the chart. She poked and prodded a bit, recommended a dietary adjustment I already made, then refused to examine the other issues I scheduled my appointment for. I got nothing out of this visit and will not be returning. Money wasted

Dr. Baca is treating me in Utah, not Baltimore (maybe that's a typo?). She's tapering (sp?) the dose of my opioid prescription, which is scary because I've been on it for so long. I trust her tho because she took extra time to talk to me and learn about what's been going on in my life. She explained her plan for treating my pain without drugs to me, so it's all super clear. I can tell she knows what she's doing.
