Dr. Kirti Ramnivas, MD

I’ve taken my kids to Dr Ramnivas for years. She is usually on time which I appreciate. She asks questions of the kids and of me. I trust her recommendations. When I’ve needed help between appointments, the nurses always call back and act as the go between for me and the doctor, making med changes or additions as needed. I love Dr Ramnivas and am grateful for her help

*Speaks to fast *We feel very rushed during our visit *Only seems to listen to part of what you have to say, adjust medications and sends you to other people for mental health testing and someone to talk about what's going on. It's too many doctors to deal with to get help.

She was not at all helpful for us. When I asked for suggestions on how I could help my child, she had nothing. When I asked about meds for my child, she said she could not give her a script. When I pleaded for her to offer some sort of advice on where I could go for help, she had no ideas.

She is always very kind to me at every visit. She takes time and answers all my questions . She truly cares and listens to my concerns if I’m having any issues. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Ramnivas is a thoughtful healthcare provider who treats the patient on both individual and global levels. The session was effective and productive in a comfortable and casual setting. My child left feeling confident and with a new outlook on a situation.

I would not recommend seeing this doctor to anyone. I had seen her for years and was having very adverse effects from my medication (anxiety attacks, night terrors, nausea and vomiting, extreme drowsiness, etc.) and she would not even lower my dosage, let alone take me off of the medication. She basically told me that those weren't even side effects of the medication even though it CLEARLY stated on my medication hand out that they were. She will interrupt you when you are trying to talk and seems more concerned about the drugs than she does about your personal well being. If you do happen to visit her, do not expect to get into any in-depth conversations about your problems. On top of it all, she promised me a letter to get a ESA for my apartment for my anxiety and depression but made me wait a month, and after that month was up she told me that I am "too strong for it," even though I have anxiety attacks nearly everyday and am depressed more often than not.

Poor. Nursing staff has a bad attitude, the Dr will cancel appointments on a whim last minute. All she wants to do is push pills, won't talk to your child.

I'm upset with this doctor and office beyond measure. She rescheduled an October appointment with my child and rescheduled for December. I go to get his refills and she refuses because he has to see her first. So now my child is having withdrawal symptoms and hasn't slept in days. I call the nurses line and get no call backs from them even though we rescheduled for a sooner date. I don't understand how they preach not to stop meds abruptly but then refuse my child's refills??!!! Do not go here

Please do not take your children to this doctor. She doesn't listen to your kids or you! She's stubborn and one track minded. She's interrupted me on multiple occasions and my daughter has even called her out on it. She put my daughter on medication that made her gain 75 lbs and refused to take her off of it even though she was already overweight and gaining more weight has caused health problems now. Please find someone else.

Saw her for 3+ years, and she could still never remember me or why I saw her. Got very defensive and aggressive when I wanted to change psyche providers, offering up the use of her phone in her office during our session to call other doctors. Very unprofessional and intimidating. Did not listen to my concerns when I had adverse side effects to my medications. Doesn't seem to actually care.
