Dr. Kishan Patel, DO

This doctor is arrogant, his bedside manner is disgusting! I went with the high ankle sprain that needed a boot brace. The ER told me to follow up with an orthopedic surgeon. This doctor told me to go to physical therapy! gave me an Ace bandage, went on Amazon and told me snap a picture of my computer go buy this! Not only that he said to me if you're here for drugs I don't give drugs out like I was drug hunting! How dare he! If he looked at my chart he would know I already get pain medication for chronic back pain! He also told me I do not do surgery on people who smoke or use patches Oh and when I first went to speak to him about how bad my foot was the day before from driving he arrogantly shouted 'CAN I SPEAK'! Made an appointment for me to come back in 4 weeks he's lucky I didn't lose my Italian temper in that office! So I left with an Ace bandage to drive miles. When I got home my foot was blown up He is arrogant & terrible Dr I am reporting him to the medical board as well!

Excellent experience. Dr. Patel was very knowledgeable and helpful. He treated my Distal Radial Fracture, he did a great job and didn't have to be operated on. I recommend Dr. Patel and the great staff.

Dr. Patel was recommended to do my total hip replacement by Dr. Demaio. Considering Dr demaio has over 30 years experience I said. Ok. WORST DECISION I EVER MADE. I left the hospital in worse pain. After 4 months of non stop pain, I asked for a mri which showed joint effusion and osteolysis in My new hip. I asked him what to do and he had the nerve to Blame my back.. Dr. Patel recently started replacing knee/hip joints according to his profile from his residencies which I couldn't find 1 thing about him on the internet before surgery. Something told me not to use him, but I did based on Dr demaio claiming Dr Patel was the "anterior approach expert". Expert by FAR. Needless to say, I found another hip specialist , one with a legit profile and had a revision of my left hip in less than 1 year from Dr. Patels "job". Bone graph showed osteolysis and the press fit cup he used was too small for my joint causing only part of the cup to be secured. I lived a whole year like this. Stay away

Where can I start ? I tore my Achilles in September and after continuous research I found DR KISHAN PATEL in garden city to take a look at my injury. I was able to see him the same day I got hurt playing basketball. DR Patel is very caring, passionate and humble. He operated and repaired the Achilles and followed up with me every day post surgery. Dr Patel genuinely guided me through out the process and made me stick to the post surgery plan. I felt confident in my Achilles to start light running and lifting in 5-6 months. I sincerely would like to thank all the staff and DR Patel for everything.

Dr. Patel took care of my father who has been suffering from debilitating knee arthritis for many years. He was very attentive to my father's pain and discomfort and helped guide my father to making the appropriate treatment decision, which was joint replacement surgery. Dr. Patel provided excellent communication throughout the process and helped my father attain pain relief and meet his goals of playing golf and spending time with the grandchildren. Our family couldn't ask for a better surgeon who is also very personable. I highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone experiencing knee or hip pain.

Saw Dr Patel for my knee! Listened to all my concerns with great attention and walked me through all my options. He did not recommend surgery as my cartilage is still healthy!
