I saw Dr. Yamazaki several times for pre-op, outpatient procedures, and post-op visits. Initially, I could tell he was knowledgeable, but then I realized that I couldn't get a word in edgewise. It felt like I was being steamrolled into pursuing specific care that suited him. His bedside manner is frustrating. He's so busy proving how much he knows that he forgets to ask about your symptoms. He will boast that he is the best at specific procedures, the only one who does them, and tell you he'll 'take care of you like family,' but then it becomes very clear he is just getting paid to push a product. Getting to his office was inconvenient for me, and I asked several times to do virtual post-ops if nothing was out of the ordinary. Instead of listening and finding solutions, I arrived for post-ops several times to be seen late, for less than five minutes, or provided with absurd care like a bandaid put on a healed cut. Unless this is your local Sports Medicine office, go somewhere else!

Amazing and caring sports medicine doctor!
Dr. Yamazaki treated me and my son for various injuries over the past year. He was wonderful at diagnosing the issues, explaining to us what is going on, giving tips on how to treat it, and the steps to prevent the injury from recurring once we were healed. He has a truly great bedside manner and very approachable. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Yamasaki is professional, extremely skilled, and efficient. He was able to identify my injuries quickly and gave me the exact methods needed to heal. He also explains everything needed to complete healing and communicates effectively the procedures to be done in order to heal. He cares about giving his patients the best care and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is struggling with an injury.

I have been a patient of Dr Yamazaki for about a year for broken bones, leg cramps, bursitis, and sciatica.. He is a thorough professional who listens with care and treats with compassion. He is highly skilled. Of the three orthopedic doctors I have seen in Castle Rock he stands head and shoulders above them. For diagnostic services and treatment I most highly recommend Dr. Yamazaki

While I found dr. Yamazaki to be quite knowledgeable, I stopped visiting HealthFit Family Medicine because their inept office schedulers could NEVER manage to get me in within 1 HOUR of my scheduled time, even with a 9 a.m. appointment time. Nearly 5 MONTHS later I received a bill attempting to extort me for an additional $240+, after both my insurance and copay. They performed NO additional services, NO additional work, NO labs, NO XRays, NO justification for the additional cost.
