Terrible experience. He is condescending, arrogant and patronizing.

Caring, thorough, professional, excellent!
I came to him after a stroke. Over a year later was having short term memory loss, confusion. He handled me with excellent bedside manner with his diagnosis. Very happy to have him as my provider, feel safe under his care!

Very thorough, attentive doctor!
I’m used to working with high-paced doctors who will only sit and listen to your concerns for a minute or two, if they even listen at all. This doctor was ver thorough, asked a bunch of questions, paid attention to detain, attentive, and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. I could tell he wanted to help. I went in there not knowing what to expect or if I’d be able to do anything at all for my headache. But made sure to get all the referrals and tests I needed so that nothing would be left out. He’s great!

Disappointing
Extremely dismissive and generalizing. Didn’t listen to any of my actual concerns. Spent over half the time pecking at the computer and talking into his dictator and not conversing with me. Very disappointed.

Learn from my mistake!
I may have been able to excuse his brash and condescending manner in addition to his irresolute decision making, but there is no rational reasoning for him to indicate in my visit summary that I presented with “sciatica pain” when in fact he mentioned just the opposite in my visit due to my recent anterior hip replacement and the damaged nerve located in the front surgical site due to scar tissue!! He mentioned that the course of action include my continuing with physical therapy. On the contrary. He stated that I should discontinue the desensitization process I have been receiving since it is causing more pain and not assisting with my recovery. He indicated that getting a 2nd injection from my orthopedic doctor may be helpful. When he mentioned a specific area for the injection I asked him to please write it down for me so that I could convey the accurate information directly to my orthopedist. His irascible response was, “it will be in my notes“. However, it was not.

Dr. Dzamashvili M.D unfortunately ordered a carotid ultra scan on my father during hospital admission for pacemake placment, there was no prior discussion about this exam with my 82 yr mother and was done unnecessarily. We had already had a previous Neuro and vascular surgeon consults and had all needed information in addition to carotid study and MRI. Dr. Dzamashvili was told this and was told that his service was not needed. He was apparently disappointed with that response. We needed his sign off for discharge. He was attempting to go ahead wite a cat scan until he was again stoped. He delayed giving a discharge order for APROX 2 hours which ofcourse delayed my fathers discharge further. My opinion is his lack of transparency with patient family is poor and because of this he adds unnecessary test that result in longer stays than nessassary. His feelings are apparently easily offended.
