Avoid the Westwood location
Expect wait times of over four hours or not even being seen at the June Stein location in Westwood. Dr. Mahdavi maybe a good doctor, but he is grossly over booked with mediocre support staff..

Amazing Doctor
Dr. Nourimahdavi has performed cataract surgery and iStent implants on both eyes for me with outstanding results. When asked about the outcome I simply say I haven't seen this well in over 30 years! As a potential glaucoma risk, I am under control with normal IOP. Dr. Nourimahdavi sees me every 6 months for monitoring. SOP for the case, but Dr. Nourimahdavi and his team offer extensive, accurate and successful testing, procedures and treatment. Continually grateful.

Awesome Dr.
I am very happy with Dr. Nourimahdavi and his assistant Saloumeh N. Abadi I had cataracts in both my eyes and i could not drive at night. I was having trouble reading and after I had surgery on both my eyes, I am now able to read again, and drive. His staff was very professional. I highly recommend him, he is a great Dr.

Outstanding!
Dr. Nouri-Mahdavi fixed both my eyes. Totally painless. Explained everything and results were outstanding. Vision went from like looking thru a screen door to 20/15. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I had my Cataract surgeries with left in September and in October my right eye. Needless to say I’m very happy with my vision. The sky is clear blue. The pre and post op service is exceptional. The care I received during and to and the end of the procedure I felt safe. Dr Kouros Nourimahdavi is friendly, professional and called after hours to ensure that I’m fine, reminded the post op instruction, via phone personally. He explained the procedure and the process, pre-op, comforting…As a nurse I’ve worked with multiple level of specialty doctors and surgeons, I would recommend Dr Nourimahdavi for cataract surgery.

Very Good Doctor
This year I had two surgeries with Doctor Nourimahdavi in my both eyes. I'm so happy it was very successful. He took care of me both and after the surgeries. He is the kindest doctor i have seen in my life. With my experience I highly recommended him as a very good doctor.
