Dr. Krista Vizuete, MD

I took my 2 year old, my 2 year old nephew who I have custody of and 18 month old in because they were all sick with a virus. (I also had newborn twins at home who were not sick yet) She acted like I was a complete bother. She was annoyed that my 18 month old was crying (she was crying because she was very sick, and she had so much discharge that her eyes kept glueing shut) after I stuck a pacifier in her mouth she calmed down. This doctor then proceeded to tell me how bad it was that we were still using a binky at 1.5 years old and that it would ruin her teeth. I know some people (even drs) have bad days. I hope she is not this condescending and rude all the time. With 5 kids under 3, (three if them being sick) newborns at home and a whole bunch of post-pardom emotions she drove me to tears and I cried the whole way home.

Dr. Vizuete is an amazing physician! She came recommended by a friend and physician mom. My husband and I could not have been happier with her. Trust me when I say it can be a challenge to take care of kids with non- physician parents and it’s even harder when both parents are doctors. Her being recommended by 2 physician moms says it all! She’s thorough, informative, and most of all very caring. Unfortunately, we are moving out of the city, otherwise she would have stayed my child’s pediatrician until 18! I would highly recommend her to any new parents out there or seasoned parents looking for a new pediatrician!

Dr. Vizuete is wonderful with my 4 year old and 1 year old kiddos. Having kids herself, she relates with the realities that we deal with, while promoting the upmost care. Her bedside manner is professional, but personable. She is always smiling and seems to genuinely love what she does and the kids. I trust her judgment and care. Dr. Vizuete is a great choice for a pediatrician!

Dr. Vizuete is simply amazing. She is compassionate, patient, & understanding - never do you feel silly for coming to her with a question or a worry you have. Not only is she knowledgeable & competent, but as a mother of two young children she anticipates the concerns & questions that parents typically have. When talking through a diagnosis & treatment plan she takes the time to help you understand it fully, even giving step by step instructions if you find that helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

All three of my children are patients of Dr Vizuete. She is a fantastic pediatrician always taking time at each visit to make sure all questions were answered ...even my childrens!. She is extremely proficient and has a very calming manner. I would recommended her highly to both new moms having their first child or families with multiple kiddos!

Dr. Vizuete is compassionate, patient, and very thorough in her care. Her attention to detail and individual concerns has put my mind at ease through the first year of my son's life. It's been a gift to have her care for my two children.
